Let’s the say, Merkavas 4 which the laser warning system is omni-directional, target lock from attacks drone seems to be 100% consistent, but what about the helicopters that slings LMURS or SU-30 with kh-38? I noticed that sometimes it doesn’t even get alerted and then bam you are dead.

LWS only warns of lasers
IR guided weapons are passive and do not emit any lasers.
