Question How would Germany get a F-16 Fighting Falcon?

Regarding the F-16 issue for Germany thech tree, you could opt for the Romanian F-16, it would be a good addition for the air.

Why? Romanian vehicles im pretty sure are going to Italy. They already have Romanian Osa and a few other Romanian aircraft from events. And at this point it seems kinda pointless to add F16 now that EFT is here.

You’re right, I forgot that detail with the Romanians; Why an F-16? From my personal perspective it could help fill a gap in the German top air tree, the Eurofighter is very good but for a solid BR 2 more units are needed, for example the Swiss F-18 could be a good companion for the EF 2000 in the future , necessarily an F-16 may or may not be, it’s just that it is a very prolific unit in several countries.

Mind telling me which nation your thinking Germany could get an F16 from. (IMO Argentina, but they denied Argentina sub tree.)

The question should be: WHY should Germany have a F-16?

Maybe polish F-16 then?

Another nearby country would be Poland and also, although unlikely, the Hellenic army; By this I mean that a technology subtree is not necessary, but a fighter that fills a vacancy is necessary to complete a BR lineup.

original tank is fully german (made by thyssen henschel) as such any upgrades dont really count as ‘development’. only upgrades. Argentinian vehicles are being added to Germany for the moment, not just TAMs

doesnt exist btw

another peice of bs as 3 axis stab requires special turret mechanisms to allow for x, y, AND z stab. which no TAM variant in the world has.

for example, this is 3 axis stab

only versions which exist are TAM, TAM-2C, TAM-2CA2, TAM-2S1 (excluding non tank variants)

2CIP is fake

Israel has a bigger claim to it than Germany does for it having the base model. Currently, unless a LATAM tree appears or a Argentinian Subtree is placed elsewhere, Israel is the most suitable place for this vehicle to be placed. Had the Israeli tree existed soon, it most definitely would have gone to the Israeli tree over the German one (and quite frankly, I still believe it belongs there now. I wouldn’t be against it if gaijin were to add a second TAM 2C to the Israeli tree as a premium or squadron vehicle of sorts).

From what I understand, there is mainly just a lack of information on it, but it did exist to some extent in a prototype form. If you have information that fully confirms otherwise or shows it to be a mockup of some sort, you’re welcome to share it here as I’ve yet to come across anything fully proving its existence was with its claimed features.

And as said above:
Feel free to prove me wrong, I haven’t found anything that fully de-confirms its existence.

simply put, we take the overall contribution of the systems that the TAM has and see which country is responsible or them, which gives us Germany for the design, turret, hull, engine, drivetrain, ammunition, base armour, mechanical drives and nearly 70-80% of the entire tank.

isreal only upgraded the sights and auxiliary equipment such as the radios and a few BMS systems in some TAMs. LAHAT is not part of the deal as LAHAT comes for both 120 and 105 versions and iirc the Argentinians did not buy it.

its fake because the image is a photoshop. what you see is just a standard TAM 2IP. TAM 2C has upgraded sights which distinguish it from the base model.

this tank does not have them since its simply a TAM 2IP.

this image shows what it would have looked like if it didnt get cancelled

By any chance would you happen to have the original image then, or has anyone been able to locate it if it is indeed a photoshop of sorts?

ive tried to find the original, but since its a photo someone took unofficially (as is obvious) and for the ‘spotlight’ as they call it, i have no doubt they never posted the real photo online. the resolution is also too low to be trusted in this day and age
