Quality of life suggestion

In a tanks stat card we can see what your current reload speed is based on whatever crew level you’re currently at. I suggest also adding what your reload speed would be when your loader is knocked out (or dead). This would help people better plan out strategies for when their loader is dead and they can’t replenish their crew. For instance if a tank originally has a reload speed of 7.1 seconds, then their loader is killed unless they time the reload they wouldn’t really be able to know what it is and may overextend in a fight not knowing their reload is either 14 seconds long or 19 seconds long. I’m mainly suggesting this cause I’ve died many times because of this, it could just be a skill issue but I digress.

What do you guys think about this? Would you want to see it or just keep it as it is right now?

This is needed. I think for vehicle with manual turret drive it should also be shown how wounded gunner affect turret rotation speed.

I believe that some sights have a countdown telling you the reload time for your tank, so if you get into a battle and have your loader knocked out, it will tell you how long until your shell is loaded regardless. This might fix your issue, and should be implemented in default sights

Also outside of first stage ammo would be good too.

All sights can have this (you can adjust what elements your sight has regardless of tank in game), yet you shouldn’t have to go into a battle, get your loader deliberately knocked out, and then fire a round just to find out how much time it would take. It’s not as much an issue so much as it’s a quality-of-life improvement

the custom sight system is ass…
The fact that the basic option of “add to every vehicle” is not present, and neither is a option of “add to vehicles of nation”, makes it incredibly frustrating to use.

Changing a single sight template to be on every nation at every rank takes a staggering 5-10 minutes depending on servers, your own speed and percision(as you need to make sure you select the right stuff which is not easy to do as the game sometimes changes your selction when you change nation and so on)

I tried to do this just for that timer, and gave up. It is a half-baked, poorly implemented buggy system.

The fact that custom sights are still so popular despite you being able to build almost 1 to 1 copies ingame shows this.

Not to mention that some of the option are just worse than the base implementation. Take the “Rangefinder” option. The base game version is fixed in position, has a timer bar and is visible in 3 out of 4 views (Gunner, Comander, Binos). Meanwhile the “moveable Rangefinder module” is not fixed in place and actually moves around when you move the sight ingame, making it possible to have it outside of your vision. It also only appears in the gunner view making you lose the basic ability to rangefind (and getting a number displayed) in binos and comander view.

It is a great idea which would make the game better, just so poorly implemented that it is not worthwhile to use the system outside of the “role-play” aspect.

In my opinion they should add a reload timer to either the sight itself or the quick access bar on the bottom, as is essentially the standard across the industrie. (just look at any MMO)
