I’d like to suggest adding an option to freely move a crew between different crew slots. It would be great if we could reassign a crew to another slot without any restrictions. This small change would make managing vehicles and crews much more convenient.

This is already in-game, click and drag the little bar with the crew symbol underneath the tank in the lineup at the bottom of the hangar. You can also right click the same bar and choose “Change order”.
This does however not change what the crew training level is or what tanks are trained on them, just their position in the lineup (you can see which crew is which by their number).

So you’re basically just saying what the OP wants is not i game but saying it in a roundabout way.
How did you come to that conclusion?
Op wanted to move the crew between the slots, you can do that.
From this I assumed they meant switch vehicles between different level crews without having to pay to retrain the crews.

I don’t think it ment that. If that is what they ment then they wrote it weirdly.
I would have expected something like “Move vehicles to other crews without paying crew training cost” if that is what they ment.
Oh well, we’ll have to wait for OP to clarify in that case :P
Yeah it could have been worded better but I think what you read it as would be written like moving the position of tanks within a lineup.
Anyway yeah we need to wait for clarification
You can but not independently between lineups
I don’t use it myself so i don’t know much about it.
Doesn’t it save with the lineup preset?
Last time I tried moving the crews around affects all lineups at the same time. This makes it hardly useful for sorting out lineups like I’d like to do
I just tried and if you have several presets the crew stays sorted in the way you put it for each preset. So if you in preset #1 move crew #3 to slot #5 then in preset #2 the crew #3 is still going to be in slot #3 .
this is literally just not true. I have maxed out the lineup number and all of them have different crew orders
