Q&A map size response was wrong

Edit: talking about smaller versions of the maps and not the actual small maps that are for 7.7 or below brs.

Just watched the Q&A and man I don’t think gaijin plays its own games because those ultra small maps that they said is a rare match is actually very common especially for mid and top br for some reason instead of low br vehicles, the sad part is night battles are 1 in a million even though u could play at the right time over and over and over and never get a night battle even though every vehicle that could play in the night battle now has access to night vision for free from the get go, we should have an option of opting out of this game mode instead of opting out of night battles

Ultra small maps are locked to 7.7 and below.
War Thunder’s largest ground map is 4x4km which is about right for what the largest should be.

Sorry i meant the large maps that get forced into a small section of the same map with 1 cap point, or the same map that gets cut into 1/3 with 3 cap points

Oh, the 1 cap versions.
Fair criticism.

All I can say is use your map votes for your favorite maps regardless.
I have at least one on Red Desert and/or Pradesh.

The questions about the maps were spot on. The answers, a big miss.

Gaijin really doesn’t put a lot of effort into map design unless it’s polishing old maps. They’d rather be cranking out $80 premium vehicles.

I dont mind them trying to make as much money as possible, its just having cqc maps for tanks that can go from their spawn to your spawn in 15 seconds is horrible, people dont hate large maps, people arent stupid and can use their brain and find players or flank themselves, i just thought their answer was very bad and they should rethink this,

quite a lot of the Q&A was a bit weird, sad and borderline insulting tbh.

I find it kinda of fun they are putting out this mess telling the players they don’t know anything, the same week they are asking for a vote in “labor of love”

The game itself being a labor of love has NOTHING to do with Q&As.
No Man’s Sky is a labor of love irrelevant of what their staff says. Words are words, what a developer does for a game is entirely different.

Move apart different things.
It shouldn’t be any harder than separating real from fiction.

No Man’s Sky dev could verbally attack me tomorrow, and that wouldn’t change the fact that he puts labor into his project out of love for the project. That would have zero impact on my support for the game receiving Labor of Love, because they are different things.

Yep, from the reviews I’ve read people weren’t too impressed with some of the answers and as you posted, they were somewhat insulting.

Agreed. I support the game through premium time and have a few premium vehicles I’ve purchased. If they don’t make money then the game ends and as far as I know there’s really no competition for WT so I’m kind of stuck.

I will say that from what I’ve seen about their responses to the questions regarding maps, and the lack of attention given to creating new maps, I’m considering just to stop buying premium time and vehicles.

Gaijin is afraid of a que time thats longer than 20 seconds and will do anything in thier power to keep it this way, i rather spend 15 minute in a map and 4 min in a que instead of 20 sc que 4 minute map because whenever there is a conquest or a map that lets you shoot the nemy spawn from literally your spawn ends up this way
