Apart from some French tanks and the Strv 103, I don’t think anything else that’s common has a reload that quick.
Combine that with the best one shot potential out of anything at that BR, and you get a tank with very good firepower.
It isn’t fair that something with an extremely fast reload, with a very capable gun, can face 6.7/7.0 tanks. It’s also a pain to face at higher BRs because it will almost always out reload you.
And still BS that the PzH has an Stab at all, spoiler there is no Stab IRL, unless Gaijin has found sone magic sources…
But I/We cant prove it, so we are stuck with this fictional Stab…
By survivability you mean FCS eating a shell. You have its FCS. It cant shoot, it cant turn, it cant aim. Furthermore, it can be MGed to death, unlike the VIDAR which can survive autocannon fire from the RH202 20mm and 30mm fox gun.
8.0 is fine, its just a VIDAR that trades armor and thermals for a better reload.
From my experience when I bring the Pzh2000 into the higher BRs I am still able to keep up, the issue arises with lack of advanced optics such as thermals. Even in top tier its fun to play but 7.7 is to low and easy for this type of vehicle.
Its bad one the move, lacks good zoom and lacks thermal as well. The gun isn’t stabilized, so 8.7 is probably too high.
Maybe its time to adjust the BR of all cold war and modern warfare SPGs, starting with M109’s and 2S3. They’re all toxic and too low BRed. Especially the Vidar, cause with thermals its just alot better to snipe everything down on bigger maps.
That is true, but with enough map knowledge you don’t need thermals. Such as I am slowly finding spots on many maps that allow me to use the proximity fuse on the PzH2000 to take out spaa and light tanks in some cases spawn to spawn firing.
