It’s pretty simple really. It’s called balance. You’re projecting your own want to have OP missiles onto my position and saying I want to keep Israel down for some bigotted reason.

Newsflash, I want Israel to have good stuff too. I just don’t think we should shoehorn an OP missile into the game until the game is actually ready for it. Again, it’s called balance. Again it’s better than all the current 4th gen missiles by a large margin. Smin explicitly said we would need to wait for something like the R-74M2. Clear cut. Game over. It’s not happening this patch.

Except it outperforms other “4th gen”, seeker performance already is whatever Gaijin decides to cook as realism left the chat long time ago.

Also its just me or Sidewinders used to have 40s battery time? Looking at missile spreadshiet, they have 60s now. Pythons are capped at 20s still.

That’s something that been discussed here, but nothings been officially announced yet, no official confirmation or denial yet. So nothing to be done but wait and see

The counter is the current GPS and IR weapons, combined with notching and chaffing

As I’ve stated numerous times before, bad players flock to whats good, so eventually Israel would become played over time if a Python 4 was added, but compared to an OP airframe or Fox-3, the impact of a single niche top tier jet recieving an ‘OP’ IR missile and having a major effect on the META is practically non-existent.

If japan got an Indonesian rafale for example, thousands would start grinding japanese air, and so on for airframes, but for missiles alone I don’t think so
