J-8s could only destroy a full base with high drag 500kg bombs and 250kg bombs, but unlock the 500kg bomb is as hard as get the PL-12 if you not unlocked it before the patch

Well as you say that, J8F should go down to 12.0 since it has PL8 and there is no IRCCM capabilities available. I do agree pythons without IRCCM are over rated, but just from its stats many will not agree with this.
I suggested to people that J8 actually has a composite pylon capable of 3 250kg bombs, which could have helped grind if you can bomb bases at level 3. I probably will end up using Q5L as the RP grind for most of the next period.

Yes but that’s 6 9L+ 4 7F, not 2 PL12 + 4 pythons. I get PL12 is good, but you get 2 of them and your flight model is not designed for dogfighting.
