Using Kd is ironic, but yes, for me AESA still has a bigger advantage in 13.0 than HMD, though to be honest I don’t even know if there’s any point in discussing it further

IMO hmd is more important than aesa with fox 3s, but with fox ones having an aesa is better. Because situational awareness is super important with fox 1s, but with fox3s it’s not as important
And tall box acm with an aesa can make up the deficient over a hmd as well

Honestly I don’t care about your preference since main debate wasn’t about asking HMD and trading with AESA radar.
Discussion started due to a person claimed that ADTW struggles with its current armament and needs better missiles while we explained to him that its not that easy.
I clearly stated that ADTW hold its ground at its br quite well on my previous posts without HMD or better missiles, not my problem if you cant read.
Keep in mind at 13.0 only Kfir C-10 has access to both HMD and Fox-3’s which makes quite unique in this case, oh it also has access to AESA radar which makes it pretty much better F-2 in BVR.
Problem is at 13.0 you will see 13.3-13.7 regularly which creates the problem you mentioned.

nearly 100% of my matches are with 13.7’s and 14.0’s. Why should I endure a Mirage with Mica’s in my F-2 with trash ass AIM-7M’s
you have the superior radar for awareness, flight performance and IR missiles.
You can:
- avoid him
- dogfight him (MICAs are not good for dogfights)
Either way the MICA mirage is the least of your worries when uptiered.
Your real threat is the flanker, always
just look at that TWS scan rate

And you can do it you just need to know how to handle it and push the plane to its limits; with a bit of practice, you’ll be able to swerve around a mica-em pretty well
