Put the E50 and the E75 paper tank designed by german engineer to replace Panther 2 and tigre 10.5 fake paper plan

That’s why I brought it up. 2022 is recent enough that I’m still “new,” but not so recent that I’m super new.

Game’s changed a lot in these 3 years. I started playing before Finland came to the game, before the great decompression of summer 2023, before the 10 year anniversary, before planes got split BRs by game mode or before artillery came to the game… Etc etc.

And I’ve put in 3700 hours, but I still remember what it was like to be brand new. Sometimes when I read the forums I get the feeling that many other players have forgotten that.

Me too. But these aren’t event vehicles. You also don’t find them in SL crates. Can’t buy them on the marketplace. Can’t win them in a tournament like the E100. They are completely unobtainable - and yet very commonly encountered when you play those BRs.

not the E-50 because panther II was built but not the turret
i agree on the E-75 replace the 105 tiger with it they both fake anyway and bring it back for limited

How about no to pure fake paper vehicles? And instead search for true prototypes? Like Panzer IV Hydro for example, or the Simmering Diesel Jagdtiger

still wouldnt work, because the panzer 4 hydro was a test bed for the new transmission, and was slower.

atm gaijin has one vehicle outside of other nations, the indian panzer, which creates a new issue, we have 4 versions we can add and theyre all over the place in terms of performance. the first is the 9cm version, likely using an american or french gun it be a generic 7.0/7.3 tank, then we got a version with a long 88, this would sit at 6.7 or 7.0, then we get into the batshit zone with a long 88 auto loader version, likely sitting in the same br as the normal long 88, and finally an auto loaded 5.5cm gun.

outside of that the sp1c versions are there for light tanks but they would likely be 7.0 or 7.3, wouldnt help 6.7 but would give germany something after that.

and thats pretty much it for post war german designs.

And why?

I suggest prototypes instead of fake phantasy tanks only, and nothing else. Or did you thought the Pz Hydro should replace the fake Panther II or E50???

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Hydro. It’s unique, it was built.

Not a replacement but in the same br area of 6-7, Wouldn’t be surprised seeing there are people out there who think the panzer 4h in its fat bloated package we got now should be 4.3/4.7.

Hence why I said it wouldn’t work, that was my fault for thinking one thing when you meant something else, my apologies.

But then again even if we do add the hydro into the game, it would be an unbalanced mess. It’s effectively a a much slower, fatter panzer 4g and would be shoved most likely in the 3.3 or lower spot. Then again it would be funny to make those panzer 4 haters rage.

There’s easily 5 vehicles that can replace the fake tanks:

  • Panther II with schmale Blendenausführung turret. Paper turret, but it was what was actually proposed and the Panther II hull was built.
  • Panther II with schmale blende turret. Paper turret, but it was what was actually proposed and the Panther II hull was built.
  • Tiger II with rangefinder. Wooden mockup, but the rangefinders were built and one still exists at the Tank Museum.
  • Jadgtiger with turbine engine.
  • E-100 with Maus II Produktionsturm. Paper turret, but the E-100 hull was built.

What else could be done?

  • Current E-100 should be remodeled with Tiger-Maus turret. Instead of the copy-pasted Maus turret. This is also a paper turret, but would make the existing vehicle more accurate.
  • There’s 2 turbine engine Panther’s that can be added, I can’t remember who shared it.

Good decision. For E-50 i know only build a transmission with gear and also mounted on panther. Adler development

And stabilised gun sights would also qualify, although I’m not sure how you’d implement that in game without turning them into full-on stabs.

If you mean the Sla, I’m writing a suggestion for it!

Yes, absolutely.

Knowing Gaijin, I find it likelier that they would leave the original E-100 unchanged. This allows them to potentially add in the Tiger-Maus as a separate vehicle anyway if they ever decide to go that route.

Adler was tasked with developing the suspension IIRC. The tank was not actually their design. The guy behind the E-series was the same guy behind the Pz III and the half-tracks, Kniepkamp, from the Waffenamt.

I’m not sure if any autoloader for the Panther F and Jagdpanther was ever built in metal/tested, but if it was, that could be a neat addition.
