I want to ask what is the general purpose of updating crew models? Do ya’ll think that this is unrelated to game mechanics and gaijin should focus on the hystorical accuracy of tanks, planes and ships?
Different teams of developers work on different aspects. Doing one thing does not automatically stop another, different employees will not have the knowledge to cover items out of their field.
Ships, tanks, and planes, will all have their own “teams”. There are hundreds of vehicles and many “zones” so to ask for all historical accuracies to br resolved is a huge ask/task withvague parameters.
question… is it influenced by my statistics? or decisions made by the team? this question is running in my mind like a rat running from a hunter
I doubt that is something we will ever know as how a company micro-manages is not exactly pertinent to players.
For that you would need to make a direct request to the Devs and make the question extremely clear and focused.
I am not sure if this forum still has a Question to the Team section like the older one.
That isn’t entirely true because management allocates resources. Gaijin contracts for most of its modelling and rigging, and that costs money and integration and testing time etc. that could be spent on various things, including hiring more programmers to work on the code. For the programming side, management determines what they work on, enhancement or bug fixing, etc. They probably don’t have people that only do one thing as they are a relatively small company that has a bunch of titles that require maintenance.
Absolutely not on the first one and what to change or add to the game is more of a business decision. So management picks stuff to add to the game that it thinks will gain the most “user engagement” (monetization) and marketability to grow the playerbase. And if you’ve ever worked for a company, those don’t have to make sense from the end-user’s perspective.
No, but for purpose of the comment in question. More importantly for me was the requirement for a much more detailed question due to scope of historical accuracies (BRs meant etc).
Of course your correction gives more an understanding. But either way not always something Devs would bother revealing.
True. All part of the mystery of the snail.
yeah
hm, so even the previous updates to crew models weren’t because of us playing the game and scoring what we desired? That means our data in war thunder has no influence at all right? it is only what Gaijin wants to do regardless whether we like it or not, right? But in a general sense I still think that such type of change is significantly useless, i mean simply there is no effect on our gameplay and there is no effect on our retention with that…
How do you com from crew models to that conclusion?!?
Updated crew model are cosmetics, and help immersion, and I for one welcome them very much. But they have zero to do with data analysis affecting gameplay relevant development decisions.
