Punish kill denier by awarding crashes to the player in the nearest proximity regardless of distance

I crash my plane/J out to the ground after someone heavily damages my plane but can’t finish the kill themselves to secure their kill, regardless if I also hit that plane or not.

That said some scum in this game also uses this crash tactic, but not to honor the fight they had, but to deny people of potential kill. this behaviour is usually prevalent in Turkish F-104 player, however other plane also show this behaviour.

A mechanic that reward kill to the nearest player instead of just detecting crash at J-out should be implemented. other than the unfairness of it all, crew lock and full repair cost is not punishing enough to some people. crashes should worth something for the enemy team, even if it’s just a halved/finishing off kill reward instead of full kill / severe damage reward.

Won’t they get the kill as long as they landed 1 bullet on you before you crash? Also if they J-out the nearest player do get the kill.

If they J out they do, but if they just immediately pitch down and slam into the ground, it counts as a suicide and no-one gets the kill (Unless they were damaged severely, or damaged within a few moments).

Heartily agree with the OP here. Denying a kill to an enemy is just bad sportsmanship, and since it can be made impossible rather easily, it should be.

What’s more, it also means rewarding players for manuever kills, like baiting people into overspeeding/wing ripping or compressing themselves right into the ground, which is a mechanic the game has been sorely lacking for a while.

Do you oppose an air RB EC mode?
Cause this isn’t possible in EC modes due to exploitation, it’s why even ejecting near enemies no longer grants frags in air sim EC.

He opposes the way Gaojin acts against players. And if something is exploited, you can always ban people.
Maneuver kills should be a thing.

Zero games on the planet have such a mechanic for a reason, and are you going to front the money for the moderation team?

Just frag them.

On one hand, it’s annoying to deal with in premium BRs in Air Realistic because people will just bomb and crash their F4s or MiGs. On the other hand, it’s very effective at getting rid of PvPers in Sim.

im just making sure they get the full reward. some vultures will try to gun/missile me down so I just nosedived after I lost 1 rudder and wing each.

thats on gaijin for making their game purposefully painful. not on me for spooking the nearest F-4

This is only a problem in Sim EC due to the lobby system and low player counts. That allows players to specifically find low population servers and ensure that they can donate kills to their friend without being messed with.

If people try to pull this on fully populated servers, they’ll either have to go to some obscure corner that’s so slow it’s arguably not worth it, or other players will catch on and either report them or just intervene.

And it’s even less possible if there’s an automated matchmaking system, helping prevent people from being able to consistently get on the opposite team of certain players.

This is all a moot point anyhow, Gaijin have confirmed that a permanent RB EC mode is completely off the table, so no point worrying about it.

Smin confirmed that stance as recently as a couple of months ago.

Absolutely not.

I have a little bit of dopamine rush, when i am in “unwinable” situation, so i crash and then trashtalk on chat like “haha no kill for you”. Its a small, little tomfoolery that do not hurts anybody.

Don’t take that away from players.

Besides, “kill deny” is not that big of a deal and it happens very rarely. It is not a problem, as you probably experience it maybe one in 20 battles.

This isn’t 19th century China. You don’t get a better harvest from the gods for being honorable.

People do kill denying for 2 reasons.

Generally sucked that game so if they cant grind, they will make it harder for you.

And the second reason is basically the first but with the modifier that they are just trying to spade a shitty aircraft or try to do a specific battle task like destroy bases or ground targets which is hard enough depending on what you are playing. Its slow progress so they are annoyed at the progress and just get a kick out of knowing they denied you your grind.

There is also a 3rd reason and its that they are Turkish. Turks can survive any form of damage and if it was a nuclear winter all they would need is a Twinkie to take shelter in.

There either is or was something like this. But I haven’t experienced it it a while. Last time I saw it working was in ground rb when flying a aircraft and someone J out of a UAV. Ofc you mean when someone crashes in to the ground. Which would raise the question of how close would the enemy have to be to you in order to have it count towards you.
