PUMA's BR is so high

As @ueberman said the current mass is correct, the simulation also use the mass of the sabot on the calculations so it is irrelevant.

PUMA can be annoying to face when it has only it’s turret exposed, my barrel turns orange rather quickly and the next thing happen to me is I’m firing blank and the barrel is now destroyed lol hitting it’s turret with apfsds can cause fire works but often doesn’t do anything at all. And most PUMA players will always on the move, which makes the already small sized turret even harder to hit with HE.

I mean like an average crewless turret it’s not gonna die if You hit them well, in the turret and not only that but the 30 man’s seem to struggle to get a cannon kill in general due to numerous factors such as low damage, enemy movement and even imprecisión of the cannon, the PUMA is annoying but not an op vehicle, the lack of armor + internal modules makes it spall easily

ahh i see, yeah i did some more digging and noticed this too, turns out it is correct, but it doesn’t specify the penetration at close range at a 0 degree angle, or at not such an extreme angle, rounds irl act really differently, would be nice to have an actual simulation

Well it is pretty common for the penetration of the round be given at 60º as this is the angle for the NATO test which are standarized and so far we know that they should pen at least 50mm at 60º at 1.5km and in game it has a 54 mm of penetration, so nothing indicates that the values that gaijing is using are wrong.

An simulation would be meaningless as even if you have it is neither an IRL test or a valid source.
