2s38 pops from a single dart to fuel tank

11.0? So the PUMA VJTF and Namer should go down? Because nowhere in hell are those three tanks remotely comparable in War Thunder.
Puma at 11.0 has FnF Spikes and Gaijin thinks those are good enough for blanket large BR increases
Autocanon tank vs autocanon tank.
True BMPT has the armour of an 11.7 or 12.7 MBT. But its still closer to the Puma, Ajax, CV90, etc than the Abrams, Leopard, Challenger, etc
Though if we arent treating it as a light tank, then I hope it goes to 11.7/12.7 respectively
No, it really can’t. A simple hit with HE to the turret instantly destroys it. And otherwise even a 20mm hit usually disables it. Meaning that as soon as it goes up against any other IFV with 20mm+ it’ll just be instantly disabled and taken apart.
It’s armor is also virtually non existant in game, and Spikes are uless.
If the IVF Puma is used brainless. Indeed.
even better.
theyre more comparable to kornet then
i want the BMPT to be higher. and yeah maybe the puma and all other such vehicles should go down but id rather have decompression and keep the puma at where it is. also
gaijin gib puma its real armour!!!
Do i hear there deutsch and yes i agree decompression should come. and proably rework the spikes
its so damn easy to give them the proper loft and top attack code but gaijin just isnt doing it.
idk which nations tanks would suffer most from a highly volatile autoloader directly below the crew in the turret
That’s cuz of “IR MISSILES — +0,7-1.0 TO BR, NO MATTER THEY ARE GOOD OR NOT”. Same with ec665 UHT, which has no gun, no IRCM, but he has pars and that’s enough for snail to give it 13.0. even if these pars are terrible in their damage. 13.0 just because they are IR
The VJTF is, which has 4 FNF spikes.
Do you really want to play that game, accusing others of “being bad”. When your K/D is 0:03. And your K/D in the PUMAs. Both of them, is even worse.
Or are you saying you’re using them brainlessly and thus can only achieve roughly 1 kill every 4 spawns?
@Armen_Lozone @Mk_lolorex Decompression isn’t gonna help. Just as the last decompression didn’t make anything better and in fact the only thing it did was destroy several line ups. Now there’s a bunch of vehicles with virtually zero other vehicles to play alongside them and quite a few things got worse.
Line ups matter.
And yes, GJN actually has the code to do the left and dive attack for the missiles, hell some are doing it already. They just refuse to do it for Spikes and some others. Who also have gimped metrics.
4 FNF who are absolutely horrible. You can shoot all four at the same target and often not achieve a kill. On top of that the PUMA’s armor is entirely gimped, and a 20mm can easily disable the entire thing.
Other tanks with the same FNF sit at 10.7. Which honestly feels like a closer match for the PUMA VJTF. The regular one could also go down somewhat.
Spikes are not horrible
yeah guess which one im talking bout
The one at 11.0, with spikes. But that’s just a rough and wild guess…
It can casually soak up 120mm APFSDS, 152.3mm HE, and hundreds of rounds from autocannons broadside without dying.
It is not a fragile vehicle. It ain’t as survivable as BMPT, but still.
They absolutely ARE horrible. You can fire all four at them at the same tank, score hits and do virtually nothing to it. The way they work in WT currently is atrocious. And basically all SPIKE throwers aside from the PUMA VJTF and Namer are at 10.7.
@Pangolin_Fan It can’t soak a 120mm APFSDS unless you hit it anywhere but the turret, HE overpressures it reliably, and auto cannons absolutely shred it from the side or disable it from the front.
12.7 levels of protection / 11.3 levels of firepower / 10.3 BR
BMPT’s should be no lower then 11.3
But has 4x 1200mm pen tandem missiles capable of killing 12.7 MBT’s frontally and can fire all 4 on the move
