PSA : How to 100% guarantee you dont team kill friendly planes/helis/drones in GSB

It is an interesting thread.
I just think that it is too abstract for those you actually try to reach.
If you don’t know this, this won’t teach you, as it is too vague.

How would you put it then? It can’t be an essay…

Perhaps 2 or 3 hotkeys that describe your intention first?

I am having a similar problem in heli PVE and I find that actually talking to people in chat works best.

You’re having a problem with team kills … in Heli PVE??

/boggle

I can’t ‘talk to people in chat’… I’m flying a helicopter, in VR… already a tricky proposition.

I need a clear, easy to understand sentence to not only educate the idiots that play SPAA how to read their radar and the other idiots that see a helicopter on the enemy side and instantly start shooting…

I also blame my fellow helicopter pilots because it seems the only strategy they know is to take off, fire a few ATGMs from over the helipad and then get killed by SPAA… the idea of flanking is apparently too insane for them :p

"It’s your fault I killed you because you’re in the wrong side…’ is a frequent response :(

No but with people who nuke the map as fast as possible, thinking they’ll earn like crazy.

this isn’t the same problem… you can easily fly for 5 minutes in PVE without shooting anything, in sim you can be shot before you even get airborne (although this is now rare)… I don’t have time to chat even if I could see my keyboard.

FYI PVE rewards really suck…

Air alert spammers are the worst.

“people who communicate in sim are worse than team killers”…

got it

/facepalm

They don’t communicate, they hinder any communication by flooding a chat with air alerts, because they are unable to VID the target.

SteelBeast: "hmmm, there is a HIND… is it Russian or Italian? Too far to see rondels. We have a Mi-24 on our team but I saw a enemy helicopter killed someone recently… shall I press my air alert hotkey to check? Nah, I don’t want to over communicate’…

/Heliboy proceeds to kill 5 players on SteelBeasts team, including him…

Such a bad way to play sim…

SteelBeast: "hmmm, there is a HIND… is it Russian or Italian? Too far to see rondels. We have a Mi-24 on our team but I saw a enemy helicopter killed someone recently… shall I press my air alert hotkey to check? Nah, I don’t want to over communicate’…

/Fires spike at Heliboy who is on the enemy side killing their ZA-11s…

“You idiot, why are you on the wrong side”…

Even worse way to play sim.

Really?! Someone taking M-24 in 10_2 and yet alone scoring 5 kill in it ? THAT remains to be seen…

But surely Team killers who are usually new player to SIM, first thing what they do is to go here and read this topic…

Huh? A Mi-24P can’t get 5 kills in 10_2?? If enough helicopters spawn I’ve had aces from just killing them many a time… have you even played sim? :p

Actually most team killers just shoot their allies in spawn… 95% of TKs happen there. The other 4% are usual mistakes we all make.

The problem 1% is dumb sim regulars who refuse to learn to read their radar**… and the other arrogant idiots who can’t accept that a single ‘air alert’ before randomly shooting is a better idea than killing the player who often has the most kills…

** I usually check the stats of SPAA playing team killers… and many have THOUSANDS of games…

Hardly, chances are extremely low, but you know that.

I’ve been playing the A129CBT today since I unlocked it last week and have 4 five+ kill games in 10_2… a couple before I unlocked hellfires too.

Five kills isn’t hard… of course it’s harder when your team is populated by morons killing you. Another half dozen TKs to add to my pile today.

Good for you, but you were talking about 5+ kills with Mi-24P,

Not the A129CTB which is entirely different machine and without doubt far more capable then the Mi-24P.

Imagine if I had written Mi-35 instead… **

I mean, who really cares if you can get 5 kills in a helicopter in a fictional example…

The Mi-24s are not worth playing as soon as you unlock anything else. My Russian P is completely stock. My German was only played to get the Tiger and has sat untouched for … four years? My Italian V is stock. My D was abandoned as soon as i unlocked the A109…

You’ve really locked onto the core of the issue here haven’t you?

“I refuse to use Air Alert because you can’t get 5 kills in a Hind!”

/facepalm

** 220 games… 400 kills. Lots of 5+ kills.

lol… now I understand. Gaijin “tricked you” into buying not one but TWO Mi-24 premiums before you realised they’re not great in 10_2 so you bought the BO which you could play in 9_2 instead… where it is horribly undertiered and easy to spank Russia… almost like cheating really.

And your couple of dozen games in the Hinds before you pulled your wallet out again made you an expert on them :p

Your mental gymnastic to steer way from fact you just pick idiotic example is adorable. Not just that the chance someone would need recognize Mi-35 from Mi-24 in 10_ is close to zero (it is always Mi-35) but you also terribly overshoot the consequences if someone fails to down Mi-24.

Nice try but I have those Hinds for like 6+ years, long before the 10_2 even existed. I even bought RAH-66 which it is good for nothing… so you can say they are collectables.

But back to your rant topic… boo everybody are idiots they keep team killing me.
Maybe warn other player you are going to operate behind the enemy lines (helps a lot), or ask Gaijin to make proper tutorials for the SIM players ?
Because this rant of yours solves nothing.

Rant? It’s a PSA.

“Flying behind enemy lines” is another macro I spam… Still get TKd.

“Heli capping A/B/C. Got smoke?” is another… still get TKd on the way to the cap… ON the cap… and leaving the cap.

Idiotic example? Sure. I pulled a vehicle and number out of my ass… but there are HUNDREDS of captured aircraft in game which you simply can’t identify from looking at them with a potato PC…

At least I can perform mental gymnastics… your sole contribution to this problem is just to complain multiple times about ‘spammers’…

Ironic.
