I have an idea for the presets in War Thunder. Now you can’t have that much presets and it’s sort of chaotic. What if the preset tabs get replaced with numbers, from 1-12; each tab featuring it’s br’s. So, for example, tab 1 gets 1.0, 1.3, and 1.7. Tab 2 gets 2.0, 2.3 and 2.7, and so on. There also could be an extra tab for custom lineups. This way, there can be made way more presets without it being more chaotic.
Terrible idea. The default preset setup with one preset for each branch of warfare is what should be used. Manually inserting singular vehicles in a lineup isn’t hard at all, so people who try to have one preset for every single BR shouldn’t be given attention.

Presets don’t have to be chaotic at all. A long time ago I suggested an easy way to improve presets without too much effort from developers:
Unfortunately, writing suggestions in War Thunder is pretty much a waste of time, so this suggestion went nowhere.
But the truth is that the current presets system needs a major overhaul (not only small improvements). Maybe someday they will change it with some big UI update, but it’s not up to us, the players. They changed our in-game profiles half a year ago and no one even asked for it.
