well, never in my gameplay have i ever 2 kill enemy with single shot on both launcher, it is either one just disable and one gets the kill or one land in the dirt, one disable or actually kills it. or the most perfect combination of both. both went to dirt
but i must say, the tracker on khrizantema is just a gimmick. it cannot lock on tanks most of the time, let alone heli. because having radar is pointless when your missile still follows your mouse instead of your radar locks. if only the radar can actually locks on something aside from burning tanks
and yup like i was expecting supposed to be able to fire ACLOS which also missing
The maps aren’t designed for it. It should be a monster, but the optic is mounted so damn low
The Krisentema should be able to lock through foliage and smoke irl, that’s the main use of the radar.
It was supposed to have dual firing channel, Laser beam from sight and Radar control. one is missing while the other stay. this thing could be raised in BR to somewhere like 10.3 if the radar aim were implemented. they already have fire and forget mechanics for spike i dont see why they cant implement it too for khrizantema
everywhere you look for 9P157-2 you will always find it can use ACLOS for firing
Do you have a source? I don’t know a lot about the system
Just some private blog, there was a catalogue. but it seem to have been deleted, the only sources where you can view it was on scribd
page 48 by the way
the info was also on wiki so i guess im not unintentionally leaking a classified info or something
Wow, that’s crazy bro.
T29 match: on my phone 75% of it.
Crew level: 81 expert
Kills: 10 (literally 2 sp from a nuke)
Caps: 1
Deaths: 1
BR: 7.7 (not a full uptier but close)
What round type killed me? HEAT-FS
IS-6 match: focused
Crew level: 150, expert
Kills: 8 (7 ground, 1 aircraft)
Caps: 1
Deaths: 2
BR: 6.7 (full downtier)
What round type killed me? APHE
So, which is the more effective vehicle again?
Wow, a sample size of two. Very convincing.
Oh lol I can repeat if need be.
I prefer AFT09, but Khriz can be funny for some long-range heli donking.
Spoiler
Yah but if the heli has any idea he’s being fired at, it’s useless
According to what (I assume) you’re trying to prove here, the fact that I do better in the M26E1 than you do the T29 means we should bump it up to 7.7 while we’re adjusting BRs.
That’s not the real issue - Helicopters are usually in their own world. The real issue is even getting a lock on the helicopter in the first place, they have to be low or it’s not happening. Ultimately, Khriz is over BR’d. It is no match for the AFT09. Ground radar can’t make up for only having two tandem warheads to fire at a time (despite their higher speed). Hull is certainly not as survivable. Ground lock itself always likes to hit center mass, which can give mixed results. Typically, you’ll find yourself just shooting manually. Khriz should be around 9.0 in BR, like the AFT09 (or 9.3 if its moving up). I rank them as such:
AFT09 > ZT3A2 > Khriz. Mephisto doesn’t even deserve a rating because the French decided to not give it tandem warheads, limiting its utility in higher BRs. Your suggestion to move it to 10.0 is a bit silly, I find.
Depends all in it’s pros and cons, and how you play it.
I play tanks on the front line, I don’t hide behind cover all game.
Is the M26e1 had the armor of the T26e5 it would be an easy 7.3
T32 would be much better
That’s not my primary issue with it (ERA isn’t that common at the BR). The primary issue is how bulky the launcher system is. This makes it trivial to hit so long as whatever you’re firing at has an LRF (which practically everything does at the tier) and any HE/HEAT round that hits anywhere on the launcher with ammo rack the missiles and kill you.
All other ATGM only vehicles barring the Wall-E have much less conspicuous launchers, making them harder to spot on a ridgeline and much harder to hit.
His justification is literally that he felt the need to include some BR increases for Soviet vehicles otherwise he’d come off as a Soviet main merely nerfing everyone else while buffing the Soviets. Also that the Kriz usually sees uptiers anyways so uptiering it won’t make much difference(???).
Frankly, I find it a little telling that in trying to find some vehicles worthy of uptiering, he settled on vehicles he had average to low KDs in. 1 for the Kriz, 0.6 for the 2S25, and 0.8 for the Sturm.
Meanwhile, the vehicles he demands to be lowered have much better stats.
- 1.8 for the KV-1 Zis.
- 1.5 for the IS-3.
- 1.3 for the IS-6.
- 1.4, 1.3, 1.5 for the T-54s.
- 1-1.8 for the T-80s.
Only exceptions are the T-72B and T-90, which are just slightly negative.
Meanwhile, there’s the KV-1E, sitting there with a 3.5 KD and a 70% win rate. Which goes unaddressed.
Feel free to draw your own conclusions from this.
