I’m 99% sure the Kv-1E/B has better armour than than the C does. The Kv-1C also has a 4.0/4.3 level gun, and it only shows up so low due to German players sucking, and the Panzers being sub par platforms when compared to Shermans or T-34s.

Cant be 8.3 because lack of stabilizer and APFSDS.
It should be, because it is better than the DF105 at 8.0. However, it shouldn’t go to 8.7 because it would be terrible there.
Decompression can solve this.
Thats the idea of premiun in this game. You paid for somehting better in the same BR.
Like the TO-55, T-10A, OPject-140, etc etc.
Until this happen move up to 8.3 is just destroy the tank. Btw this is just another case of “is german lets cry” .
It’s also a French vehicle… but I guess it’s easier to argue against someone when you play the victim.

In German TT, if this vehicles was in France TT you for sure wouldnt be here suggesting his BR change.
The “also a French vehicle” wasn’t an additional point jspene was trying to make, he was saying that the CLOVIS is a vehicle not just of German, but French design as well.

No? Premiums shouldn’t be any better than TT stuff.
It’s also in the French tree, and it deserves a higher BR when compared to other 8.0s.

Those were options for the real vehicle.
The CLOVIS/Marder FL-20 could have gotten a stabilizer, thermal imager AND access to APFSDS ammo.
Gaijin just chose not to give them to it.

KV-1C has the incorrect armor of the KV-1A, KV-1A was the early turret before the armor was reduced to put less stress on the turret ring. The gun on the A is too poor to give it the armor so gaijin swapped their armor values so the C with the light turret has the light weight but thicker armor.
105mm same as the 105mm from the add on plates on the KV-1B/E which also have 25mm plates over the crew compartment making them the nost armored KV’s
It’s a 5.0 sec auto loader with I believe 10-12 rounds and a very very trolly body, and good HEAT shells. The DF105 should most certainly be 8.3
The CLOVIS should be 8.7 as it gains a big benefit, a new turret design, and a 20mm coax. (May be more benefits, but I haven’t truly checked it out)
That’s not how premiums should be / always are.
TO-55 loses a coax, for a gimmick, it also has no dart, or APDS if i remember. Hence the slightly lower br.
T-10A has a low speed stabalizer, and nothing but APHE, with the worst reload at that br by far.
Obj.140 is like a weird side grade to the T-55A, although I have no experience in it, fighting it hasn’t been too troublesome. Nor do I commonly see this tank.
The turret armor (the thing the KV-1E is kinda lacking) is made up for in the KV.1942 turret. Which is what the KV-1C. It can block the M4a3E2 rounds pretty darn reliably.
The pak the kv-1c (or Pz.IV H gun) is quite potent, and it leagues better than the KV-1E, not only boasting what, 145mm pen? But good HE filler.
These combined make it far more lethal than the KV-1E hence the big br difference. The only way the 1E should go up, is if it gets a better shell, which it won’t.
Do you have any source for that? Seems pretty made up. Also, no the total armor of the KV-1E/B isn’t over 105mms… where did you even get that from?
Nah it’s very much overpowered.
Only thing that doesn’t make any sense is T-54 and TO-55 are in the same br, one of them clearly better everywhere, the T-55 is fully stabilized, has better zoom, faster turret turning rate and similar ammunition choices, also at 8.0 the Chinese T-54s are basically an upgraded version of RU T-54 with stabilizers and better zoom, they are clearly not equal. Just blame the compression

Oh i see. Sorry i thought the DF-105 was the only duplicated vehicle in this patch but finally Gaijin added this one too for both nations.
BTW is not a bit soon for suggest changes in this one? we are talking about a vehicles added 48 hours ago.
Full stabilizer in 8.0 when regular T-54s or another 8.0 dont get acces to stbz.
