You are wrong.
They are both severely uparmoured, to the point where their turrets can’t be penned by Sherman’s and other tanks unless it’s directly side on, their side hull armour is over 100mm in a few spots, and they have a lot more frontal armour too.
All for an 0.3 increase. Anyone defending this just wants to keep their OP toys OP.
I have a 90% winrate and I’m sure I could make it go higher if I had a squad all the time.
They have an unreasonable amount of armour for their BR, as well as having an acceptable gun.

The only thing it can’t pen is other KV-1s or some Churchills.
If the KV-1E/B can be 4.0, so can the Churchill VII.

Again they have armor, but can only reliably kill things below, at, or slightly above their br.

The B: doesn’t face German guns at this br
The E: faces plenty of high velocity guns able to kill it.
They are like the T-14 but less angled. Impossible for new players to kill, but once figured out, not all that hard.
In the T-14, or KV-1E I have found the Pz.4 to be quite the dangerous enemy, and that’s at 3.7 but I do often watch people hastily fire and bounce rounds of the KV
I could say I agree with the KV-1B going to 4.3 purely based on what it sees. (Not German high velocity 128mms, that’s for sure).

Guns that are able to kill it are different than guns able to reliably kill it. Panzers are food to the Kv-1E because of their poor armour and the fact that the Kv can still block their shots.
So they should be 0.3 below it.
It’s still more difficult than it should be relative to other heavy tanks around that BR.
If you’re struggling against Panzer 4s in a Kv-1E, that’s a skill issue.
That’s blatantly biased towards Russia.
Both versions need to go to 4.3, because they are so OP at 4.0. As I said earlier, if they can be 4.0, so can the Chruchill VII.

Oh I’ve seen it, I’m assuming it’s duplicate accounts voting.
Nobody surely would believe a nation with some of the lowest WRs across the game would be that powerful.
But at the same rate, I’ve played the T-72B3 at top tier, and watched countless abrams and other players merely smack the UFP without even trying to aim, then they called me a cheater, Russian bias, etc.
So no I disagree with you point, also in terms of the poll, Germany was way ahead for awhile, then there was a sudden spike and Russia which was 3rd became 1st.

The Germans can reliably kill it, as well as US, and others.
Pz.4s can easily kill them, and can trap shots because it only has like 89mm pen.
Buff the penetration (you can’t, historically) and then you can make it 4.3

They can not reliably kill it. Some tanks can, but those are mostly incredibly easy for the Kv to kill in the first place.
