Proof of LDIRCCM capability in IIR against Laser DIRCM

why are you so weirdly obsessed with calling him out for being naive for wanting a balanced game?

  1. Isnt that literally what every player should want?
  2. This thread isnt even about balance of LDIRCM its about the technical aspect of IIR against LDIRCM

I’ve never been more disappointed on the moderation staff for not cleaning up all the off-topic and rule breaking stuff from this thread. You can’t have technical discussion when this guy shows up.

You have truly awakened me up with your insight. Shame you are not actually intelligent, though, otherwise you wouldn’t be here either.

@ItsOnyy i think its about time we ignored the gutter trolls and kept discussing the problem without them

That guy is a blithering moron, we really need a karma system to filter bad actors out.

Here is a vid of IRIS-T flying on IOG+DL and defeating IRCM 🫡

Trynna stay on-topic here. Btw this is what would happen IRL, the seeker shuts off, and the missile carries on Datalink guidance.

I found it)

Main advantages:

  • Implements counteraction in a closed loop.
  • It provides effective counteraction to missiles of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations.
  • Distinguishes IR-guided missiles from other threats.
  • Monitors the success of the counteraction.
  • It is effective against multi-threats.

IIR missiles are 4 and 5 generations.

The exact same brochure was not only posted multiple times, but is also attached to this topic under the sources section.

Sry, didn’t pay attention.

Its alright.
Apparently bug reporting managers still are deluded to think that an LDIRCM that specifically states that it is made to counter IR threats can operate in different wavelengths of light.
They never prove anything. For them, they can say maybe this that.
How would any system know if an incoming missile is IIR, IR, Contrast, TV or UV guided.
It cannot know it beforehand.

Nothing surprising.

Gaijin is advantageous to use Slavik magic rays, not the real implementation.

Which nation is titular and Gaijin’s favourite? USSR.

Which nation uses LDIRCM on their 5th generation jet? USSR).

Quite logical that Gaijin will defence current magic rays LDIRCM. Otherwise Su-57 will not get it’s magic anti IIR missile system.

Besides it’s, if the current topic will accepted, Gaijin will have to redo LDIRCM and this is extra work.

IMHO, the only option to achieve the implementation of this topic is that Gaijin will having problems with Euro/US segment.

not to mention LDIRCM is iffy irl as well.

IIR seekers basically transform into SAL seekers when encountering an LDIRCM.

haha LDIRCM go boom… oh wait that missile is following the laser right to ME!!

boom

If LDIRCM was super effective IRL, it’s will be installed on every jet like flare/chaff.

exactly lol

if ldircm was so effective irl a ka52m wouldnt have been destroyed by javelin

Ka-52M have different type of DIRCM, not laser.

mi28s have been downed much the same

not to mention the argument of damagin IIR seekers is kinda dumb.
the sheer amount of thermal energy transfer needed to damage a substance that isnt styrofoam or paper but made of silocon and in case of IRIS-T, indium antimonide is massive

Besides semiconductors can start to malfunction at like 200 C already

the problem is getting a semiconductor to that temperature at all.
