Problems with the water quality in naval battles

Today the water quality is different. It looks like unclear flat glass, with absolutely no effects. Changes in the graphics’’ preferences do not change the quality. Anybody with the same problem?

Looks perfectly normal to me, except I’ve not had a battle with storm waves for a few days (thank goodness).

Glass water can be true to life, but it’s relatively rare and Ive mostly seen it in the tropics. It’s also very spooky if your used to eternal waves. I doubt it’s intentional in the game if happening frequently.

It’s just super smooth now for some reason. I noticed it in some of the air test drive maps, so it isn’t only a naval thing. However, something definitely changed.

Edit: it is incredibly difficult to judge a plane’s altitude over the sea now.

Is this just today? I haven’t noticed this but I have not played today…

No issues during the times I’ve played today.

I can assure it’s not Naval only, water bodies in all maps and modes are like this, super smooth, no wave effects naturally generated or from vehicles.

What’s with the water… It’s like glass… I can’t tell how how close I am to the water anymore and Naval Battles just looks off

Edit: Even if you turn on stormy weather… the water is still smooth… no waves effect

I can confirm this and have some video of it. I should have gone to the air craft carrier to see if there was even a wake (but the session was also very laggy and unplayable so I left shortly after taking the clip).

The water was ‘fixed’ in today’s hot fix.

I’m not in a position to test, although I didn’t observe the issue anyway (platform/map specific? )

Looks normal to me, theres just no longer massive waves which made some vehicles completely unplayable

I’ve been experiencing it too. It seems like a bug added with the latest patch. Even the “It’s Fixed” published today has the image of a torpedo boat sailing over the glass water:

When I logged in yesterday this seemed fixed, though it could be map specific.

It’s fixed for me too.
