Prettying maps isn't going to make them any better if they are fundamentally flawed

Half, if not two third of the Maps in the game are bad. Flanks that can only be used from one side, areas that are accessible to only one team. Sniping spots that overlook half a map that you can get in 20 seconds into the match. Maps that get narrowed down to 300m wide corridors at 10.0+, making vehicles that rely on flanking MBTs useless. Spots that allow for hulldown spawncamping cross map. Areas between caps and spawns that are without cover, making a comeback basically impossible. Three-cap maps reduced to one caps without a care for capture point placement. The list is endless.

Maps need fundamental GAMEPLAY overhauls before they get prettied up. Anything else is a waste of time, the map can be the most beatiful thing in the world, if I get spawnkilled 20 seconds into the match it doesn’t matter.
