I’m struggling to comprehend this. I went into a Custom battle to mess around, and there’s a bunch of level 10-20 players with top-tier MBTs. Are these bots or something? Do people really get 10-25 hours into the game and drop $140 on it immediately?

They aren’t bots, but I really don’t understand why you would spend that much money on a game like this that early.

Most games have rather over performing weapons behind a pay wall. People take that logic to war thunder, see the 50% of sale, and think they can spend some money to get op vehicles.
There are also those who only care about modern vehicles so they drop money to skip past the “boring” old stuff.
Which skips a lot of the basic mechanics and fundamentals of gameplay. Had some TURMS-T guy accusing me and another of “ESP” because he popped smoke… while we watched him and were actively engaging him… I shot his engine out then we used him as a pin cushion for a minute before putting him out of his misery. I guess he thought that Smoke made him invulnerable or would make us (within 200 meters) lose our aim on him.

Did a sale happen and there are a ton of new players?
Yes.
I noticed this after last years sale as well.

I think sales bring in new players. Honestly, I should not be performing this well. 😂
If they were Smurf accounts they wouldn’t be so easy to kill. It isn’t typical bot behavior either.
