Hey Everyone! Below I’m going to make a list based off of the BEST premium packs, GE, for fun and for grinding… separately… its gonna be a pain so wish me luck. THIS IS JUST FOR GROUND. I’LL MAKE A SEPARATE POST FOR AIR.
I’ll list in order the Best for grinding packs and GE (clearly mention which is which) per nation
Then I’ll mention all the premiums that I’ve found fun / actually enjoyable to play…
And finally maybe a few premium lineups for those of you wishing to absolutely bully people / have a lot of money.

USA

M1 KVT (PACK)(10.7)
Easily one of the best premiums ive ever played. Extremely easy to nuke in as well. It is basically a souped up abrams with insane acceleration and speed plus a lot of unecessary but fun ERA. Can efficiently research the entire tree, and for those only able to buy one vehicle I recommend this especially after the abrams buff. -
XM1 (GE)(9.3)
There are two XM1’s in game and both are good but I’ve personally found the General Motors (GM) version to be superior once both got brought to 9.3. It isn’t as efficient to research toptier with, hence why its a bit lower HOWEVER I must say having a prototype abrams in the 8.3-10.3 br range is hilariously unfair and fun. -
12.0’s. (ALL PACKS)
Now you may see I just titled this 12.0’s. The idea is efficient grinding. This is easily the best way to GRIND, with the x2 m1a1 abrams, and then the rdf. I’ve never found it crazy enjoyable… but hey if you want to efficiently grind grabbing these can be enjoyable… but only if you grab more than one. Grabbing only one you will definetly suffer as each one (for the average player) by itself is not going to perform too well even with the buffs. Only if you intend to buy more than one do I recommend these

Leopard 2 (Pzbtl 123) - (PACK)(10.7)
For the sake of grinding is really the only useful toptier rank VII tank. The puma and leo 2a4m’s are basically a scam as they lack any armor. This performs better than the 2a4m at a lower br… not hard to choose hahah. -
TAM 2IP (GE)(9.3)
I would have usually recommended this first but lets be honest. I said TOPTIER grinding. And while this premium holds a special place in my heart, and is one of my favorite premiums, alas it does not make number 1. BS armor, great gun acceleration and well everything anyone could need, except no thermals make this one hell of a tank and my personal favorite and a great pick.

T-80U-E1 x2 (PACKS)(12.0)
I really wish I could put something else in number one as I mean… russian premiums are AMAZING. Multiple nukes, fast, responsive, great thermals and amazing rounds. This is your onestop only required premium… Of course id recommend more but damn its beautiful. -
T-80UD (GE)(10.7)
Easily my 2nd favorite russian tank. It feels a bit sluggish and slow compared to the t80ue1 and other russian tanks, but you get GREAT armor, a good br, and an amazing gun for where you are AT. -
Object 140 (GE)(8.7)
Yes I get it. Yall wanted me to say bmd-4m or 2s38. Light tanks are inefficient and usually arent the best to grind with unlike medium tanks. I love the other two, but the object 140 and its oppressive APHE make it my personal favorite and recommendation as it feels the most consistent to me regarding playstyle and games.

Challenger 2 OES x2 (PACK)(11.7)
I hate recommending toptier premiums but bloody hell WHY do the challenger’s have to be so fricking good. They might be slow but I SWEAR TO YOU UP AND DOWN… those bloody things are so damn tanky. Shoot em in the side and the ERA will save them, shoot anywhere on the front and watch as shell shatters, or ricochet… They are the true BIAS… if it weren’t for how slow they are. Easy #1 for you poor british players. -
Khalid (GE)(9.3)
I wanted to put the rooikat… but its not efficient and there is no good lineup once you do eventually get to 9.7… so the khalid is left. A solid tank, nothing bad about it, has great armor, and a bit more speed than I thought it would, but is still on the slower end. Very solid pick, but I’d still recommend the Chally 2
Japan

Type 90’s x2(PACK)(11.7)
4 second autoloader. bad armor. Great acceleration and speed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT play Japan unless you want to be the most aggressive player ever, or you have played warthunder for a while. Easily the best prem for this br in the tree but if you are a new player this is A BIG NO NO. -
Type 16 (FPS) (Pack)(9.3)
For you new players this is the rare time I’d recommend a light tank. Fast, does surprisingly well, and for the amount of cons it seemingly has, it has stupidly good survivability… yes in a light tank. If you can force 1 on 1’s and just make sure not to overextend… its one hell of a beast.
China

Let me first off state that I HATE how good this is…
*ZTZ96B, Al-Khalid, and MBT2000 (PACK)(11.7)
F gaijin for this perfect lineup. I HATE playing china but even I can enjoy the absolute horrid evil that is these three tanks. MASSIVE LFP, but nobody ever seems to aim for it and you are stupidly fast, with a decent reverse (if you do not buy the 96b). ALL GREAT forwards and extremely good mobility. Reverse is amazing too again, (as long as its not the 96b)… Fast, armored, and has a good gun… The best premium lineup for toptier in the game. Easily, and I say this with anger. (althought if you only buy one or two here are my recommendations in order. AL-KHALID first, then ztz96b, and last mbt2000)
I would put the 9.0’s… but I find them more fun than useful to grinding for me… and alas will leave them out.

Centauro RGO (PACK)(11.7)
One of the best light tanks in the game and so worth playing. I’m glad I got this as it is both good for grinding and actually interesting and fun to play. I don’t really recommend italy as a nation but hey… for those of you intending to be different… go ahead… pizza man. -
OF-40 (MCTA) (GE)(9.3)
I love this thing, feels a bit sluggish but hey… funny armored 1a5 is fun okay… and it feel LIKE SOMETHING. LIKE DAMN… this baby hits, and does well… just remember you have no armor.

AMX-30 Super (GE)(9.3)
THE ONE TIME A GE VEHICLE MAKES THE TOP OF THE LIST LETS GO GUYS!!! Honestly. If I was to rank only premium tanks in the game across all br’s… this one is 3rd. Its fast, great turret traverse… mostly nonexistant armor till… well it exists, and god its so weird and funny to play. weird design makes people pause and its hilarious. -
Leopard 2 (OTCo)(PACK)(10.7)
Just another 10.7 leopard 2a4. no comment… good for grinding… not very fun to me

Easily my favorite premium in the game. Highly recommend it. Insanely fast in forward and reverse, high top speed… great thermals, good pen and 5 sec autoloader. Really weird layout and a bunch of empty space so you survive a hell of a lot and its hilarious. My most played vehicle and GOD ITS GOOD.

I dont know why but this 2a4 has always felt different and its good… even though there is no real difference… -
LEO1A5NO2 (GE)(9.3)
The best of the leo 1a5’s. It has some cursed spaced armor that will volumetric the hell out of random shots and you survive some of the most random things ever. I find this to be a leo 1a5 that finally fits its distinction of MEDIUM TANK. Its peak.
