I just wish Gaijin allows me ban the snow map, it makes me eyes feel very comfortable
japan and campania are the worst in this case

The worst is Jungle. I usually have 120 FPS, when i play in ground vehicle it’s fine, but as soon as i spawn in a plane my FPS drops to 30. It’s basically unplayable.
No other map, whether air or ground does anything similar to my FPS

War Thunder needs to have 80s graphics so you can run it on your Commodore 64? yeah great suggestion

my man I am running war thunder on a quadro 1000m, after just a single game, I can cook an egg on my pc, so anyway I also play on ulq (in fact i was born i it) and my fps are around 35 on maps that are easy to run but in dense forest it falls to 20 and on campania i am around 14 fps.
Well lower your resolution or buy a gaming PC …my man .
Dont expect the gaming world to alter itself around you.
What is it about the games somewhat old and basic grahics that is causing you so much trouble? I ran it all on X box one for years.
I am not expecting gaijin to do anything to make the game easier to run just for me. But i never thought of lowering my resolution, thx for that.
If i had to gues, i think it is bushes and other plant that are making my pc wanting to explode to my face.
No idea why but honestly, 20 fps gaming is not that bad, i don’t even know why i am complaining lol (yes i am an idiot i was the first to notice that)

i can run any map, including golan heights - the part with a lot of trees - flawlessly
moscow on the other hand, has unnecessarily dense forest
is making forest less dense too much to ask for? it wont make much, if any difference in gameplay or visuals - also, they can implement other visual model for confierous trees for ulq users
I started this game on a lenovo school laptop lol, that was like 3-2 years ago haha, now i have a gaming pc and good god, I never want to go back

I’m not trying to be an ass hat ,OK I am making a joke but I find the graphics to be quite blocky and old looking ,not anything challenging at all.Seems odd.
My currant home PC is incredibly basic as its used for work ,It has the most basic game graphics card.It will run WT on ULQ if I can be bothered.
As for forests ,they are being stripped anyway and all we have is a boring featureless map.I do feel for Gaijin here.They are being called upon to up the graphics and now this.
Just another thing.When I was into my gaming on PC I simply used to change over my Graphics card.(ok they cost money) but does anybody realise how easy it is to do that? Im sure many do but you simply open your PC and basically undo the old one and slot the new on in.You need a screw driver that all.Its like changing the cartridge on a megadrive or old atari console.
I was not taking you for an ass hat, sry for the missunderstanding. My own pc is also very basic, but it should be able do do the work, since on an older pc, wich i used to borow to my mom ages ago, i was able to run WT on 50-60 fps with no major issue, so i might just have an hardwear issue that i will have to adress in the futur, but rn the R2Y2 is calling me.
Well i found on the internet a dark magic trick to put an external gpu on a laptop but so far i was unable to make it work, but i keep trying hoping to make it work one day.

PC companies are always offering to change graphics cards over but on a PC (not lap top) Its so simple that you really can do it yourself in most cases. Dont be afraid to open up your PC and change things.Laptop is different and I have no knowledge there.
I would also see what upgrades you can get online for the least money.See what it takes to get a good game of War Thunder
Some computer equipment drops heavily in price once it is no longer the latest and greatest so shop around.You can update so much ,so simply and cheaply on a PC.

I have been experiencing unusual FPS drops for a while now. Normally I usually have 165 FPS, but there are maps that drop it to around 140 and 120, and even in some it drops to 90 and then goes back up, which is somewhat annoying to the eye.
