Please refrain from discussing real life politics on the forums, thx.
Well, I’d say paper vehicles are alright when they are variants of existing vehicles or just vehicles that could realistically have been built and would have used readily available or at least prototype parts.
To be honest I am kind of sad about Gaijins stance on this kind of vehicles, but at the same time I am glad they aren’t going nuts like the Wargaming devs are.
Just Pre-ordered my Viggen.
Other replies aside, not mentioning that other flight simulator games sell better aircraft, with FAR more detail for 80 dollars.
(i obviously will not be mentioning any other game’s name or am trying to advertise in any way)
I totally sympathize with making a profit, thats the “name of the game” so to speak, but lets also understand that the work and the value must reflect each other. At the end of the day I am assuming they chose the 80 dollar mark for the exact reason pictured above, however its not the same details. As far as the premium time and eagles go, thats all free to give anyway, gaijin could give out a million gold eagles and premium time to players that had no history of purchasing either and there would be no affect to the “warthunder economy.”
$80 is just too much IMO, im sure others will vote with their wallets, and gaijin is free to do what they feel is fair and capitalism will either be with them or against them :) At the end of the day we dont have to ever purchase anything because warthunder truly is free to play.
A GDR skin for the Luftwaffe Su-22, but not the GDR Su-22?
So we don’t get any extra skins for the tech tree Su-22, instead they are all given to the premium Su-22 behind a $70 paywall. Thank you Gaijin, very cool.
Very cool. Not $70 very cool, but very cool. I’d definitely throw 200GE at it should they ever add a similar skin for the squadron Su-22, which currently has zero skin options.
On the JA37DI?
Not just that, but this skin is locked behind a preorder timeframe too!
Talking about ingame options - I don’t mess with the Gaijin Market.
The last time that was said is when the Maus was an end-of-line vehicle. The best top-tier aircraft for the USSR was the MiG-17, and IR missiles did not exist.
When inflation stops? The A-6E’s monetary value today (compared to its release 2 years ago) is currently $79.56. By next year it’d be around $82.
The T-29, on its release in 2016, was $40. That would be sitting around $55 today, in which vehicles like the Object '140 match that.
Inflation on what??? Copy and paste? LOL
There absolutely should be fast-growing prices, unless you’d like to singlehandedly step up and prevent escalating inflation during an economic crisis of a monetary system.
Companies need money to live. Gaijin has based their monetary system around 2 very unstable currencies.
That haven’t shifted? The whole spam of “we won’t sell top tier experience” came from one singular comment from a community helper in 2018. Reminder, top tier was 9.0. IR missiles were not in game, nor was the entire essence or basic physics of supersonic aircraft implemented. There wasn’t an afterburning jet in the game.
The best AIM-120? There’s only 1 kind of AIM-120 in-game, and you’re freaking out because it’s been attached to a 3+ gen fighter.
that’d be a balancing nightmare and would probably take several years to get right. Not to mention how doing this for over 2000 vehicles would be a ton of work in the first place.
Worldwide standard currencies? USD is currently being affected by an economic crisis while EUR hits a similar trend on a smaller scale.
Are you unironically cordoned from the world? Are you too immature to understand basic economy and equate that to a company running a free game?
It’s like watching children cry over Robux price changes. It’s literally indistinguishable to how 9 year olds acted last year.
they certainly didn’t say that because this game isn’t devided in “tiers”. we have battle ratings and ranks. “tier” is a community term. So far only the highest BR is free of premiums, and that is probably just so you actually grind out the highest BR vehicles instead of just sticking to whatever you bought.
Tiers and ranks are effectively interchangeable, but you are correct that “top tier” is an intangible line.
