It’s extremely disconcerting that they keep raising the price with every new release. They’re not even allowing us a moment to “normalize” to the idea of a $75 premium. $80 is way too much at way too fast a markup. Things like this turn me off to making any further Gaijin purchases in general. We want to feel good about the customer experience, not like we’re being used, taken for granted and taken advantage of. The greed quotient here is actually offensive.
It doesn’t help that the few comptetitors to WT share this pricing strategy
Which ones? Do you live on some other planet where AAA titles are still quality products?
Well shockingly enough it blew up more than one. ( defo more than a JA-37DI will lol)
Sad to see a vehicle that would be from Techtree coming as premium, are there at least plans to put a version of the AV8S on Techtree? @Smin1080p_WT
Judging by the lack of a special name for that particular AV-8S there most likely won’t be a tech tree one, at least not in the japanese tree
what a completely unexpected surprise …
I can almost guarantee to you that the changes they made regarding the J35XS have nothing to do with the new Viggen.
On point prediction tho
I repeat my question:
But then you miss out on the exclusive Pre-order Camouflage!
I wouldn’t say it is, it can be on the verge of impossible to balance some of the vehicles if they had some if the weapons they carried as it would be such a huge disparity in how advanced the munition is in contrast to the vehicle.
But to some degree i agree with you, having an “Early” and a “Late” version of the same vehicle would make for wider choices and some diverse gameplay as you as a player have to try to utilize what you have vs what you lack :)
In the case of JA37 i think this is a good solution as the Di is basically the D with rb99 so it’s functionally the same as adding Early/Late D options. But in some other cases i would argue the opposite.
ahh yes copy paste striker for germany which even being mostly useless in ground battles and total outsider in air
The JA-37D entered service with RB-99s, that was the most significant upgrade over the C that it provided. Even the earliest 37Ds used 99s.
Same with the JA-37C which featured RB-74s from day one.
There’s additionally no balance issues with accurately arming these aircraft - the D would simply be the same as the DI and the C the same as the current D.
There absolutely would have been balancing issues if they came into the game with these weapons, as is typically the case when Gaijin limits armaments for top tier vehicles. But since then equivalent vehicles have been added and there is no real issue with updating these vehicles besides status quo bias. And that goes for more than just the Viggens- it’s also true for the F-4F with missing 9Ls, the MiG-29s with missing R-73s, many of the F-16s still missing AIM-120s, and so on.
we probably wont get alot of new ranks anymore, maybe 1 or 2, so they’ll probably stop somewhere around 90.
Hey, it’s better than the Tornado WTD
Module based BR system would do the same, but without a need to fully respade (almost) the same vehicle.
@Stona_WT Sorry for the ping but I have few questions about the JA37Di which can be deal breaker for many people.
Do the developers plan to release the JA37Di with
- Upgraded radar? Bug Report
- HMD? Bug Report
- HUD with radar lock symbology? Bug Report
I do not have Dev server available so please correct if any of these are already fixed.
Thanks.
Definitely a deal breaker for me, as well as the lack of datalink channels. Won’t be preordering it given it’s current state.
Yes, it will be peak mid-mobile if released as current JA37D with just AMRAAMS.
it is worse, it does not have datalink, so you can not launch more than 1 missle at over 16km
Still the arguably most effective Premium Jet for Sweden in my opinion.
