No, he didn’t miss. He has done stuff like that on purpose many times before the RR&D people can tell you that.
With 2 tanks in German lineups there is really no way back for Gaijin if Canada don’t have a their own TT it would go into Germany or as an event vehicle into the German tree.
I am aware of Alvis. I’m also aware of you and your idea of gaijin miss treating Canadians when and actually Canadian said they are happy about it being added and are fine that it’s in Germany.
With the exception of American or British chassis- based vehicles. And tech tree gaps.
I don’t know about you but I’m pretty sure that, for good reason (the same GB shouldn’t get the Chally), Germany shouldn’t be getting Canadian F-18s or LAVs or etc. etc. etc.
Depends as there are also plenty that share the same stance as me.
If you look in other places like Reddit.
Gaijin can add the 2a6m to UK and they should. They can easily justify it.
Yes Reddit. Like I want to look at reddit.
I doubt it.
the biggest argument for this Leo was that it was a Leo and all Leos go to Germany.
And considering Gaijin doesn’t like letting Canada have its stuff together the 2A6M CAN will most likely be a German event vehicle unless we get a Canadian TT.
If they don’t like it being together then why does it matter if it goes to German because they already added one before?
Well we can go further back…Britain invented the tank…Britain should get everything! :P
I promise you Gaijin does not care enough about Canada to be malicious. Its simply a small nation with a pool of vehicles that can be distributed to whoever needs it.
Thats a straw man argument, and you are fully aware of that. The point I am making holds water, unlike this one.
Yes Britain invented the tank, but OTHER COUNTRIES built their OWN versions of the tank. The stuff I mentioned aside from Maybe the LAV all were made by Other Nations, not by Canada, that are currently present in game. I.e. Canada didn’t build it, or didn’t heavily modify it themselves, therefore it makes sense to go to the nation that did invent/make/build it.
Its not strawman its tongue in cheek sorry the nuance is lost on you.
It was obviously not a serious viewpoint the same as the US shouldn’t get all the planes because of the Wright Brothers
It’s the internet. Unless you do ObViOuS CaPiTaLiSAtIoN, it’s assumed all arguments are serious.
Especially on this forum, given some things I see.
So you’d support both the Canadian vehicles in the German tech tree having English-language (default) voice lines, one assumes?
I put a tongue out face at the end of it. Not sure how much more obvious I could be.
Anyway no harm done
Yes.
I play Finnish voice line tanks in Sweden.
And Turkish voice line tanks in USA.
It’s normal.
They should be treated like the Argentinian and polish vehicles. They have their own voice lines and so should the Canadian vehicles.
And yet they likely won’t any time soon, because there’s no precedent for putting one major nation’s voice lines in another major nation’s tree. So I think there is at least some justification for Canadian players being a little annoyed that they’re not going to be treated as well as those other countries you and @TEZACK27 mention. They’re the only country that has their vehicles split across three trees, and the only country that will likely never get voice lines they can understand (for two vehicles so far, not all of course). Despite there being a LOT of Canadian War Thunder players who pay what they pay for the game the same as everybody else.
There literally is precedent.
This has been done for years at this point.
So yeah, your post is wrong 2 years ago.
