Germany may have a good win rate, but that says nothing about the vehicles.
Just sort the WT project by K/D and look, Germany is not even close to being as good as other nations on Top Tier.
It is a myth that German tanks are the best in WT.
German tanks are a close second behind Sweden. I have top tier USSR and I would put the BVM only a little bit above the 2A4M CAN or 2 PL.
Not to mention the absolute monster that the normal 2A4 is at 10.3

The 2A4 is amazing and I will not tolerate any slander against it. It’s in my 11.3 premium lineup and I still do quite well with it.

Not the best 10.3 but definitely the most handheld one. The abrams has a better output but requires more skill. 292 is a special case as well I guess

The tank as it exists in warthunder does not reflect the Afghanistan leopars 2A4M. The most obvious point of interesting is the PERI. When 2A4M entered service, it used PERI R17A1 where as the 2A4M in game is equipped with PERI R17A3L4.
The leopard 2A4M as it currently exists on the live server (october 24) represents a post upgrade 2A4M from ≈2016.
The wedges do not have inserts btw, the book made an error.
Someone suggested what modifications to take off the tank to increase performance. I currently can’t find the post but it certainly worked. Just a public service announcement.
Edit: Remove Mine Protection and Slat Armor.
I forget who told me to do that but it works well.
