Now that it has a blog, I’ve got a question;

Due to the J-22M1A Orao being in USSR as a premium, me and others (mainly other Yugos) hope this is not a sign that Yugo incl. Serbian vehicles will go to the USSR

Will this be kinda like a Sweden, Israel, etc. situation where some prem will be added to a different tree (as they didn’t exist back then), but does not mean that it will be a sub tree?

We respectfully hope it does not mean that, hence me asking. An own tech tree was looked for them for like…I think over a decade already? It would be sad (to say the very least) to see them go like that.

Let’s hope that it sits anywhere between 10.3 - 9.3 GRB cuz any lower would be under tiered

I think it’s currently 10.7 in GRB, I will double check once the DEV patch downloads.

yknow I love how it says 59.99 here but on the steam page it says 39.99 if only premiums one day didnt cost the price of AAA games

Indeed, a Yugoslav tree with all its successor states is among the potential new trees that would offer the most unique vehicles. Both for air and ground. Seeing one of them appear today in another tree raises questions, as many people support this new tree idea for the game:

Balkans going to russia is a wild idea. I know a certain Serbian that was not happy to see this

but to be fair it would fit worse in every other tree.

maybe do a Yugoslav or non russia eastern bloc tree for such additions, and dont let it end up like the israel tree

Literally i cant put a finger on any central / eastern european country that would be happy being included in russian TT.

would be better so we have a chance of seeing the insane yugo designs represented in the game.

If any east european country became a subtree of russia/USSR it would be a reverse India subtree situation, instead of the hots nation mostly not wanting the country as a subtree, the subtree overwhelmingly doesnt want to be in that tree at all

I agree it would be worse than the india subtree. they have Arjun (which is the worst MBT in service in the world, fascinating to look into as its textbook on how not to built a modern tank), Zorowar (havent seen much on it yet) and the Tejas as unique vehicles. the rest are either british, french or soviet derivatives, most wont fit in the UK tree and stick out like a sore thumb.

Serbian stuff would at least not seem out of place in the USSR tree.

its a minefield of a question that im far too western european to dare tread deeper into. The eastern european bros i talk to frequently would all hate to see their stuff in the USSR tree that i do know for sure
