There is nothing to attract players to. The reason ground and air is popular is beacuse we have very modern ware mashines that are cool and desireable. In naval top tier is extremely old and boring, nothing modern. Gaijin litterally make a game called modern warships. They should add modern warships from this century, along with modern subs. Would be insanely cool to by sailing around in a Zumwalt destroyer excorting USS Gerald Ford where player controlled aircraft take off and land.

She’s literally one of the most important Battleships in history (She was the first Battleship to be armed with 16inch guns built, was not only the largest, but also the fastest and most powerful Battleship afloat for her time until HMS Rodney was launched in 1924, however at a top speed of 28kts she still reigned as the fastest battleship afloat. Her launching caused a Naval arms race that ended in the Washington and London Naval treaties. And Until Yamato launched she had the largest guns of any Battleship being 410mm guns instead of 406mm guns.), and you make her a premium?
Only the snail would make one of the most historically significant Battleships of the early 20th century a premium lmao

Wargame Red Dragon introduced naval combat to the series with all the bells and whistles. ECM, missiles, CIWS, SM-6s shooting down Moskits.
It was the worst game experience i ever had.
Why? The gameplay eventually boiled down to overwhelming the enemy CIWS with enough missiles to bring down the ship.
You could do this with massed aircraft attacks, or massed ship salvos.
Planes however eventually died down due to CAP and enemy air defense, so in lengthier games, it was all about spamming the cheapest ship with most ASM and just rushing the enemy and overwhelming his defense that way.
WT modern naval gameplay would be IMO unplayable because unless you will have full coordinated squad, you will never overwhelm the enemy CIWS with single ship.
So eventually these modern ships will fight with guns again, and this will make anyone not fielding Soveremeny/Udaloy easy picking.

missiles are way more cool than using guns, thats why people strive for top tier in ground and air
