…Wait, F-14D is straight-up P2W.
Same BR as the B, better radar which is highly important for the F-14s in general but the same weapons set.
The people defending Gaijin not giving it its proper weaponry with their proper stats “because it would move up in BR” as if that’s a bad thing are full-on pay-to-win wallet warriors… And their opinions should be disregarded.

So far, Gaijin has stated it will be same as 54C. So yeah, same weapons set with a vastly better radar at the same BR… 😓
As a proud owner of a BMPT-72 and a SU-30MKK, I can assure you it is pay to win.

At least TT BMPT is better than premium one at same BR. Not sure about the SU-30s, they seem to be a side effect of top-tier decompression as a whole…

It’s not over though, as Smin said they will try to push for the all-aspect bug report which already would be a big upgrade. Concerning the C+ upgrade over the normal C you can’t expect anything considering the minor improvement with the limited War Thunder engine.
TLDR: let’s cope for the AIM-54C being updated as there is much to do.

Well, technically it should have a better tracking, a better chaff resistance, a better detection reliability, should be more reliable vs clutter/side-lobe issues and finally have a better target discrimination with less seeker confusion.
To be honest I don’t know how it would be implemented in the game nor to what degree since we will lack documentations citing numbers in many cases.
