No they never had a 14D
That is correct actually, VF-84, which originally held the Jolly Rogers nickname, only operated the F-14A, after it was dissolved VF-103 got rid of their Slugger nickname and took on the Jolly Rogers name and only operated the F-14A and B, never the D with their last flight being in 2004 before they transitioned to the F/A-18F and became VFA-103.

I’m always of the opinion that the ceiling should be increased. I just dislike people who shouts “Let’s reduce the BR of X vehicle” without regarding what it faces after the fact.

Yes I understand that but, they’ve acknowledged that the seeker head (MT) on the KH38 wasn’t used, that it “could be” so I’m curious to know (as they’re some one from the gaijin team) if any American proto jets will see the same treatment, they also acknowledged that the yak 141 never had weapons but they decided to put them on there.
I would like an actual dev response but they don’t wanna type anything as a lot of people in chat will defeat their answers they give

It’s a case by case basis. You probably won’t see the US get any of that cause they had other options that made it further through the pipe.
I only used it as an obvious example. Most planes of 11.3 don’t have good rwrs to react to the phoenix threat (should it move down), while planes that do have good rwrs are usually bad planes like Tornados. Most 11.3 planes don’t even have SARH missiles - being limited to the F-4E/Kurnass, J-8B, F-104S and Viggen. It simply isn’t fair that planes with up 4 aim-7e2s max to face 6 Aim-54As or 7Ms
except they never raise the ceiling as that brings them more money
they never do it fast enough they do it slowly according to there video with BVVD instead we should just have lower uptiers like .7

Atleast we know when sales are bad they tend to listen more. First the RDF/LT now the F-14D.
prototypes can be added how they would have been like had they entered service, production aircraft like F-14D don’t have this rule
