Cool story Bob
History*
Been watching this as my entertainment while I side-climb, but just gonna throw it out there that asking for a TT Su-30M variant, an aircraft built primarily for export which would be underpowered comparatively to what’s already in the TT, is not the same as asking for a TT F-14D, an aircraft modernized for domestic use as the pinnacle of a long-service fighter’s evolution.
Plus, to my knowledge, there isn’t a massive section of the community that’s been patiently waiting for a TT Su-30M with bated breath for years. It’s just not the same argument.
Cobra73 is bringing more attention to the problem so this is a good thing. He’s the most active in this and the poll
Okey, thank you so much
By the way Gaijin, Aim-54c+ were perfectly created for F-14D Super Tomcat.

Most of cobra’s posts have nothing to do with the F-14D. I’m confused as to why this is being allowed.
As for the F-14D, I don’t care if it’s BR gets changed. I just want it to be accurate.
Yak 141 DID exist, it’s never had weapons though
According to your sources, the AIM-54C+ is an experimental missile that was not full deployed on the F-14D.
And production concluded with version 54C.
@Smin1080p_WT Could you check the source and send it to the developers for review?
1990
August 14 – AIM-54C+ High Power Phoenix first flight test of fully upgraded missile scored a direct hit on a QF-4 drone, demonstrating unprecedented multi-shot launch and leave capabilities.AIM-54C ECCM/Sealed testing started in 1990 and some missiles were retrofitted with modification kits as the AIM-54C Plus upgrade.
1991
Production funding was deleted from the FY1991 budget request.1992
A planned replacement for the Phoenix, the Advanced Air-to-Air Missile (AAAM) was cancelled in early 1992.
September – The last production missile serial number 90420 was bought by the Navy and sent to NAWCWPS Pt. Mugu as part of GLAT Lot 90-8.1993
The AIM-54C production was completed, with an estimated 2,000 missiles built.
THEN WHY DONT YOU WANNA SEE BETTER WEAPONS???
f14D at 13.3 is unplayable
You don’t know that.
Proof?
I mean, they wanted it, that’s why they funded it. Problem is politics got involved, and so it kinda became ‘either or’ and with Desert Storm having been a thing, and the Cold War effectively over at the time, it makes sense to improve ground attack over air to air. When you have a guy who’s basically gone ‘I don’t want this to exist’, and he basically controls what you get - even when everyone below him is going ‘okay but seriously we need this’ - this kinda nonsense happens, so instead of around 300+ F-14D’s, you get about 30 of them with a few rebuilt in to 14D’s to total 55 of them.
since they’re putting them on boats and drones that OBVIOUSLY means the Yak141 carried them
but you want to see definitive proof of the F14D capabilities, and your only proof of the yak 141 is “they’re strapping them to boats and drones” you’re soo fucking biased it’s ridiculous
He’s actually right for once. With its current missiles it would be terrible at that br.
That’s cause the yak couldn’t fire any missile it never made it far enough to be wired.
So it couldn’t fire its missile in its real life config?
Considering the Japanese F2A premium is at 13.0 it may not even need to move with a better load out.
At its current state it’s unplayable at 13.0 phoenixes are underpowered, the F14D and even the F14B is basically just a flight sim right now
All I want to see is aim 7Ps and an improved 54C. Keep it at 13.0.
