It gonna stay premium. But we can suggest other variant of the F-14 to TT.
They can fix this by making the pre-order camo come base with the prem F-14D, then putting former base skin copy-paste of it in TT and giving them both 9M, 7P, 54C+.
Like F-4EJ and F-4EJ ADTW.

This is actually one of the single stupidest vehicle additions in WT. How could you possibly mess up this badly?
It’s a marginally better F-14B which is already bad at 13.0, and the fact it’s a premium is just insulting. The least they could do is give it 9Ms at 13.3, and add a TT one with 120s at 13.7.

everything is unfinished if you think about it(has in they are adding brand new shells for the British 75mm guns )

So,
Gaijin can add several Su-30 TT/premium vehicles and not spare anything loadout wise but let it be another nation’s (mostly USA, funny how that works…) vehicle? “Oh no sorry, we can’t do this”
Malaysian Su-30 that’s never operated Kh-38? We can give. X vehicle that’s never operated with Y munition? We can give it to you. This aircraft’s that’s clearly been cleared to use x,y and z munitions? We can’t give because… reasons.
I understand it’s WIP and there’s a chance for a TACO, but still. This isn’t a good look at all

9M, 7P, 54C+, and TT version should be the minimum demand. Community needs to be throwing a JA37DI level protest over this…

It being premium doesn’t bother me (it should, but there are other options premium wise in the US tech tree), it’s the armament.
It’s just not fair. At the same BR there are Su-30 with R-77/PL-12 and R-27ER. F-14D having only normal AIM-54C? Ok, but then it’s defenceless close range when everyone either has high G radar missiles or IRCCM (which the F-14D lacks in both; not calling AMRAAM high G… but it is compared to Phoenix) missiles

I hate to be the breaker of bad news but from what I know, F14B does not get data link, so technically yes, it can use the aim7P, but it would lack the ability to “relock” the target for the missile which is kind of the whole point of the aim7P so it would just behave like aim7m where if you lose the lock, missile just go blind and you cannot relock: F-14B missing Aim-7P // Gaijin.net // Issues
But i agree that F14B should have gotten aim9m for the longest time ever. The plane itself is pretty mid at 13.0 and there is no reason for it to not get it

Actually, wait a minute, let me get this straight.
Best version of the F-14 ingame is a limited event vehicle that costs upwards of $100 now.
Second best is set up to be a $80 premium. (And STILL has gimped armament…)
Both TT versions are left to rot comparatively…
