I know way back in the day there were some more photo’s - but they’ve been lost to time on the internet, and I’ve seen some point to it being the ST-21, and others that it’s pick a version of production Tomcat with a dual rail setup. As well as rails designed for commonality and all - especially as the F-14D was made digital to go right alongside the more modernized aircraft, though not necessarily used as with the defunding of AMRAAM’s for F-14’s they didn’t need to use those launch rails. But as I recall the pictures, allegedly, come from where they did the missile tests for the AMRAAM on the Tomcat.
I just know there’s a ton of scattered stuff out there. And even if it was a mock up on an F-14D as a super tomcat, a twin rail based on that would be one of the least egregious stretches of reality in this game in terms of the jet age aircraft and their weapons.

It seems like the easiest solution here, to a lot of the frustration regarding this aircraft, is to add the F-14D as a tech tree variant, and also add the F-14A+ as a premium and just give both Aim-120As. While F-14D may never had actually carried them, we know it could and that was good enough for giving the Yak-141 well every single thing it has but never actually recieved. And the F-14A+ did in fact carry Aim-120As. Best of both worlds. Players can get the highly requested F-14D and Gaijin can still sell a copy-and-paste premium.

The documents state that the aircraft can only carry the AIM-7P Block 1, which does not have DL, only IOG

It’s not backwards logic—it’s anti-logic. You literally cannot prove a negative. It’s impossible. You can only prove a positive, which in this case would require proving the KH-38MT exists, which hasn’t been done. Logic 101
And then we’re expected to correct their extremely bad “estimated” calculations using documents that don’t even exist publicly and then somebody have enough and leak a manual to prove them wrong lol
