The AIM-54C was fired from an F-14 platform. Why isn’t it on all F-14s?
AIM-120 was only fired from a modified A variant, there’s greater reason for it to be added to a specific variant of that than the F-14D

I mean 9Ls aren’t the end of the world, and last I checked this is getting 9Ms at least, but what about it’s radar missiles xD the same Aim54s found at a BR lower?
CR3 is 11.7? do we consider that top tier, i do but a lot of folks deem no for some reason.
though the CR3 is a pile of crap i used it 5 times and gave up xD
China while having MBTs with massive lists of bug reports, does not get shat on at top tier mate, at all lol I do excellent with my chinese MBTs as does @Panther2995 as far as I know.
Isreal as well at top tier isn’t any slouch, 5 second reload , great round, good optics, CITV, LWS, (trophy), Anti air rounds, IRST as well as not great mobility but certainly not bad either.
If we are talking air, and air alone, isreal has some pretty good high BR / top tier air crafts, china as well has the su30mkk alone which is ridiculously busted for it’s BRs, has acess to F16s, the J10C which while has issues is still decent.

The BMPT and 72 have been a plague since their inception in the game. It was a 10.3 that was farming “Tank Does Not Matter” and “Skill Matters” at 12.0-12.7
Eh to be fair I got the ariete cartezza and uptiered my VRCC and didn’t have much issues taking them out, still maintained a postive KD. Now the tank is BS but it’s not hyper OP now.

I was referring to when the F-14 was first announced, when it got AIM 9Ls (I love it when my missiles go towards cigarette ash instead of the planes I’m firing at), and weak Sparrows. Do we honestly count AIM-54s as a threat?
China is a mixed bag. I always joked China was what Russia is supposed to be (which is even more funny because I have been eliminated far more in my Chinese IS-2 than I have in my Russian one), but I would unfortunately say China is at least a C tier when it comes to top tier battles. Not bad in the least, but it has the same issues as Russia (no gun depression) with none of the upsides (armour). But at least it’s fast and gets away with being low to the ground so you can theoretically go for flanks (as long as you are not in Sinai or Fulda, or any open and hilly maps).
Yes yes, I remember the fun we had with you using the VRCC and I believe I was using the KF-41 when I wasn’t allowed to switch to my AHEAD ammunition.
they absolutely nuetered IR missiles in the game as well TBH man cause idiots couldn’t figure out how to flare properly. now Magic 2s R73s and 9Ms barely work either lol.

I’m aware. I was a noob at the time in my premium American jet. I didn’t realise I needed to equip a keybind for flares, so I thought Gaijin hated Xbox (I was right, but in a different way), so I would just twirl my joysticks around to attempt the Russian Bell to avoid the 9Ls. That’s how I also learnt about wing rips.
R-73s are always a hit or miss with me. Either they will follow you to the ends of the Earth or are useless beyond belief. Magic 2s are the last good missile (rear aspect only though).

I was under the impression the gate width was different in game for the magic 2s tbh. I might be wrong though
I know this is unnecessary nerd talk but:
isn’t the japanese AAM-3 basically just a better Magic 2 ? There are way more reliable Fox 2 AAM. The chinese also have some good options. And the R 73 might be hit or miss sometimes, but in exchange you get the only long range IR AAM with the R 27T/ET on most soviet/russian panes.
So it all kinda pans out in the end, as long as you don’t only have R 73 or AIM 9M lol
it may be slightly larger however the system is the same idea, so they can be used in very similar situation.
I mean the R27T/ET is piss poor mate, it’s extremely gimicky rather than effective.
Fun fact! The AAM-3 outranges the R-27T.
In a large majority of launch conditions, the AAM-3 is limited by seeker range not kinematic range. From front aspect you can somewhat reliably secure 11km shots with it.
