Pre-Order: F-14D Super Tomcat

No, I don’t agree.

First of, I bought the F-14D, since the last aircraft i grinded in that tree is the F9F. I wanted the F-16C and I grinded only what was needed. Bare minimum. Now I got my Maverkick moment too. Thats all.

With regards to the P2W. At the BR 12, this aircraft will face way better opponents having BR13. You are not going to win a price with this. I have the F-16As at BR12, being this Netz, being the french F-16A Squadron and F-16A event. The BR12 is a very bad rating. You are not 13, but you are no under 12.
You add it to a 12.7 tank lineup and you’ll face 13.7 aircrafts. You add it to a 11.3 tank lineup, it will force the tanks to face 12.7 opponents just because you run the BR12 aircraft. BR12 Abrams will face 12.7 tanks, leaves the fun out.
The aircraft will suffer at BR12. I knew it bought it because its a gorgeous looking aircraft and i had to collect it.

In summary, where would you place the F-14D?

Both premium Su30s have sole advantage over 15C MSIP, HOBS missiles. Thats about it.

Yes its annoying I have to awkwardly shuffle my eagle around in WVR in order to get a good firing solution while they can just yeet R-77 my way, but id take eagle or even F-16C any day of the week outside of that (and believe me, i have MKK as well) (and even in WVR both eagle and falcon can still hold their ground due to better FM).

Im not saying it isnt funny F-14D is borked as ultimate tomcat loadout wise or that it is sitting just 0.3 below MK2/MKK but thats issue of MK2/MKK being too low rather than F-14D (or rest of the US planes, as you suggest) being uncompetetive.

Both SU-30 should be in 13.7 BR. But they refuse because don’t want newbie’s play harder. You see this so double standard.

Bomb Bomb and Boom!!!

Exactly, when was the last time the US was actually the top dog? Back when the tomcat first came out? Which is 4 years ago and the only reason the tomcat was best was because nothing else could compete, we will never see another update where the US has a top tier jet again, even the F22 is gonna suck when it’s added, I guarantee it

I’m pretty sure the US was the first military to put thrust vectoring on jets and have yet to get thrust vectoring on any aircraft yet

not really I seen many people have bought it

Even then, they’ve half assed it.

6pdr still lacking M86 and Mk1T APDS

I did not yet get the unique camouflage. Did anyone else get it?

Has there still not been any mods in here responding to the players ?

Not in here specifically but Smin said we’re getting 9M/7P but not an accurately modelled 54C+, AIM-120A or TT F-14D

Do you have a link to where he said the 7P was coming? The 9M was confirmed and added on the dev server but have not personally seen any confirmation about the 7P.

Sorry i misremembered. I swore he did say 7p was coming

Like I get the fact that they might not add something like aim120. But when they actually add a historical missile with actual improvements of an existing one, it’d only be logical to properly model it. But of course not. Because phoenix would totally be super op, right? Not a chance.

IOG is still a feature of the P model and it could properly help especially for F-14B with its not so great radar.

or it’s still a dev and give it time

They already said they gonna implement it copy paste. So unlikely since it is gonna change since american

Idk but F-15A, F-15E, F-16A Blk 10, F-16ADF, F/A-18A, F/A-18C (early), F-4E are all great with some exceptionally great for their BR.

Come on just give 7P and fix 54C , C+ thats enougth.

I believe the game should be balanced in a way that avoids issues caused by low player populations in certain modes. Some adjustments may be necessary to ensure that both sides can compete on relatively equal terms and that matches remain enjoyable for everyone.

One of the main problems with balance discussions is the assumption that every player is capable of extracting the maximum performance from their vehicle. In reality, player skill varies significantly, and statistics alone do not always reflect a vehicle’s true capabilities.

As the saying from Top Gun goes: “It’s not the plane, it’s the pilot.”

Ultimately, success depends on the person behind the controls. A skilled player can often achieve excellent results even in a vehicle that is considered less competitive, while an inexperienced player may struggle regardless of how strong their vehicle is on paper.

For this reason, vehicle performance should be evaluated carefully, taking into account both technical capabilities and the realities of player skill across the community.

Sim Battles.
