Because there’s no point, you’d be playing the same exact vehicles but with varying differences.
Well I mean there is a few reasons to add Russian vehicles over Ukrainan vehicles right now. The top tier of USSR tech tree isnt CIS countries, but just Russia. Pretty clear the tree is meant to be primary the Russian SSR in addition to the Russian Federation

The tree is not called Russia, and is composed of mostly Soviet vehicles, so all countries that were part of the Union of Soviet Republics can be added there, Russian vehicles are the minority and appear only at the top level.

what other CIS countries are ingame in USSR TT? Especially at top tier post 1991
Does it really matter? If we wait long enough perhaps more will get added.
We don’t even see Belarus or Kazakhstan so we can assume the same reasoning for Ukraine.
gaijin can add them but prefer not to for political reasons, and it is bad to mix politics into the game, often because of player complaints
It does matter a lot, it shows what direction the devs intend for USSR.
The only plane I know is Su-25BM which can represent Belarus i Kazakhstan
Well if you want to talk about current directions it seems like Gaijin wants to add Czechoslovakia which is outside of the CIS region.

And how would this be any different? I think adding Russian vehicles would be much better in the USSR’s current state. In addition, right now Ukraine is probably the most contraversial post soviet country to add to USSR.
If any country should be added, in my opinion it should be Belarus. A lot of there upgrade programs are similiar to Russian ones and they wouldn’t be the most contraversial addition. Also it’s government structure hasn’t seemed to change much since Soviet era, they still keep the original names of many agencies like KGB.
Yeah I mean thats pretty speculative, and I disagree. USSR did use the Czechoslovak vehicles that are currently ingame (except moderna) so its kinda 50/50
USSR did not use the Praga, that’s a Czech Republic vehicle which is post Czechoslovakia 1993, could argue its filler but it still kinda defeats your argument.
I want Russian vehicles to be added, until today we don’t have Terminator, we could have T90M with arena, T15, cool Soviet prototypes, and guess what? We could have Ukrainian versions of T64, and T80, if gaijin wants to avoid political problems just don’t add Western vehicles from Ukraine to the USSR and thus keep Ukraine from before 2014, And to be quite honest, I would hate Western vehicles in the USSR.

also I mean adding czechoslovakia to USSR really wouldn’t be the best thing. I dont think slovak F-16V in USSR would be cool
If you check the old forum nobody really cared where Ukraine went prior to 2022.

Honestly id be fine if its just eastern vehicles in Ukraine as a subtree. But also I think the seperate SSR flags could be added for vehicles like T-80UD and Su-25
