Potential additions of T-55A & T-62 Obr. 1974

As the title suggests, I’d like to bring these up for discussion as how they would fit into the USSR Tech Tree, specifically T-55A Obr. 1974 & T-62 Obr. 1974. These tanks are later modifications of the initial production variants; T-62 (1962 as present without a roof HMG) and T-55A (Obr. 1970 as present with an HMG).

They feature a new KTD-1 laser rangefinder, this can be found also on T-55AM-1, T-55AMD and T-62M-1, new radio equipment which would not be relevant. These tanks also retain the same locomotive performance and engine (V-55) and as the former and do not use the “Tochka” smoke launcher array they also don’t have the applique armor fitted onto them.

Ideally this would be put at 8.7-9.0 when the latter vehicles would receive some decompression as they are pretty evil in frequent down tiers when the major 10.3 MBTs were moved to 10.7.

As other people remember T-55AM-1 was very, very oppressive when it was 8.7, so I wouldn’t want to make the mistake of putting too low.
