I wanna talk about the terrain forming blades and wat they are doing in Warthunder i will use the leopard 1a5 and the chieftain mk3 as example.
Gaijin what is the real reason for these kind of mechanic if it used as to make a place for camping our just opening a path in ground why this thing has armor and since it has armor and all tank in all tech tree has these things why not make actually useble against some types of ammo like heat rounds for exp the chieftain mk3 that has the blades and with them you have some kind of protection against heat rounds and rockets and since the chief dont have a hull armor that strong it helps a lot for defence same with leopard that is almost made of paper armor and would help a lot if it really effective against ammo,also since clearly it dont has a 30mm plate on the front that thing is almost 60 to 80mm and even has a spaced area froom the hull of the chief so why heat round still pen the hull
