Possible Yugoslavia sub-tree for USSR

Already said this in RRD, but I wouldnt have a Yugo sub TT in Russia. Not only were relationships not good (especially after WW2), but many, many Yugo players just want it to be its own tree, as it has enough.

Only times Ive seen them want it there is because they got good amount of the Russian TT grinded

Russia could just get things it had back then, like Belarus

Nah Russia can take Ukraine’s MBTs like the T-84 the upgraded version of Soviet T-80

If the USSR has to get a sub, I’d rather they get a nation that couldn’t form a tree by themselves.

Yugoslavia + Successors are literally the strongest case for a new tree

If it means not having to research the umpteenth M44, I’m in favour

Not that’s strong, it’s the one of the main competitors for the next tech tree in-game, so was Benelux and look how they messed that up

And there is no reason to start worrying if this a sub tree, same thing is going to probably happen to it like with Czeckoslovakia, it won’t be a sub tree

In my opinion, the most realistic option would be to add Ukraine as a sub tree instead of Yugoslavia or Czechoslovakia.

I agree, but disagree. The tech-tree is called USSR, not Russia. IMO all post USSR nations belong in the USSR by default. That includes Ukraine, not just pre-2022 but to current date and into the future (depending on how the current conflict plays out).

Yugoslavia has nothing to do with the USSR or Russia, it sure as hell shouldn’t be a subtree for them. I hope people will complain enough if they actually give M-55S to Russia so that it doesn’t happen.

Wouldn’t matter all that much, it’s a Soviet based vehicle. Doesn’t mean there won’t be a Yugoslavian tree in the future.

Exactly

To avoid political problems like I mentioned in that thread, I would vote to add Ukraine before 2014, and I would not like Western vehicles in the USSR.

USSR does not need any sub tech trees lol.
Yugoslavia can be a own tech tree with Ground Naval Air Heli lines and sub tech trees with Albania and Bulgaria with minimal pure copy paste vehicles

I disagree with this idea. Not only does the USSR not really need to get a sub TT but Yugoslavia is an excellent candidate for a standalone TT. Even if you disagree for Yug. to be separate consider that pairing it with vehicles from checkoslovakia and/or Ukraine (which Gaijin doesn’t want to add to Russia as of now) is still an option

Well you just offended the Czeckoslovak community with this one

Adding “Checkoslovakia” to USSR is like adding Poland to Germany
Also considering the fact that 2/3 of Yugo tech tree would be either made up of foreign tanks, a ton of which would come from Czechoslovakia, it is better additon as sub-tree than full on tech tree. Yugoslavia is much worse compared to Czechoslovakia

I think he ment Yugoslavia + Ukraine/Czechoslovakia

Even if so it’s still stupid, Czechoslovakia would be twice or thrice bigger than Yugoslavia with the amount of vehicles it has, plus it’d introduce much more western vehicles to USSR which is again, stupid.

I agree that Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia should be separate, though I don’t see him advocating for any of the nations mentioned to go to the USSR

Few unique vehicles. It would be more of a copy and paste tree, easier to select some vehicles for the event than to put a sub tree.
No more T and Leopard variants pls
