They actually modified one to fire and program AHEAD rounds?
yeah i believe so look at the end of the barrel i cant find that muzzle on any other gepard model

this is a normal gepard see the spikey muzzle
It’s different, but it’d be nice to have a closer picture to be absolutely sure
interesting. this is a KNDS official image hence there isnt much possibility for this to be a fake. it also does seem to be a different muzzle brake and not simply some covering.

Note that there are a few versions of the “old” V0 measuring unit used by various Oerlikon 35mm cannons:
The new V0 measuring unit used on Gepard 1 A2 (allows measuring higher MV’s without wearing out nearly as quickly as the old ones)
