…as pure prop Air RB player that every few hundred matches you meet an excellent enemy player and you have the chance for a (potentially long lasting) skill contest in an undisturbed 1 vs 1 without anybody interfering.
And this ideally between aircraft with similar performance - so that the pilot becomes the decisive factor and not the used aircraft.
I just finished a match:

which fulfil these criteria:
- Excellent enemy
- Undisturbed 1 vs 1
- 5 minutes duration of a single dogfight
Between 07:00 and 12:23 you see me in a MB 157 fighting an excellent pilot in a F4U-1D. As this was mainly a low speed stall fight regarding positioning the planes performed quite similar - and my opponent managed to utilize the excellent flaps to its full strength.
Best fight in 2026 so far - if you enjoy low speed stall fights it should be worth your time…
