I do disagree with that statement there because the Schakal has a few things the sWaTrgInf does not have and there are a few features that make it stand out, Like for example a Unmanned turret that only the Vilkas possesses (which is a Event vehicle so not exactly accessable for everyone), plus an adjustable Spike Launcher similarly to the Puma VJTF plus a IRCM and lastly the Anti Drone Package which has a small radar (though idk if that part can be implemented).
Brings peakness and muss 2.0 if they picked a modern prototype. Plus Germany can always do with more tanks at that rank :3

2A4 was still used when DM33 entered service in 1987 as the 2A5 came 8 years later in 95. Another late version of 2A4 could be added with a better shell and armor.
Theres also 2A4 with 140mm cannon prototype. There is also a 2A4 wíth APS (AWiSS) which given that we already had T72B3 Arena and such would not be that far fetched to put it at 11.0 or 11.3.
Also 2A4 with ERA.
Theres loads of leopards we could have, but instead germany has one single MBT between 10.7 and 12.3 if were not counting an 80 euro premium

You missed the main part there. A C tech leopard. You could add dm53 to our current 2a4 and you wouldn’t be far off since that’s what swiss 2a4s used

a higher protection leopard with just DM33 for either 11.3 or 11.7 like M1A1 would be fine.

the point is more a 2A4 as a bridge between 2A4 and 2A5, think 2A4 (Late). Thats currently the issue. They took 2PL away from 11.7, gave it better shell and put it at the same BR as 2A5. Genuinely could have stayed where it was. Instead theres a void.
I dont need M1A1 competitor, i need something like the IPM1 or M1A1 between M1 and M1A2.

Your reply states that you don’t add vehicles that you deem “too unique” because people might complain that they don’t get access to them, to which I have stated like half a dozen vehicles that are unique or would have been a good addition to the tech tree.
And yes, I do know that the discount puma exists. Just that it’s basically inrrelevant because it’s a spike-autoocannon vehicle that are arguably useless. Unlike the one with the 105mm cannon.

The constant enshitification of the game really makes me wish we could go back on some of the changes we came to as a community, they were the right choice at the time but gaijin had to ruin it somehow…

Bring back the format where you 8 tasks for the vehicle, 9 for the camo and 10 for the coupon… how Gaijin figured doing the even 3 times over for the coupon rather then 2 extra tasks was equivalent is beyond me, not to mention that you got some lee way for missing a day or 2.

They still do that for winter events. They changed the system because people didn’t like it.
I work 45hours a week and barely have an hour to play before i need to sleep, only times i can play abit more is on weekends but life outside the online realm takes that time aswell. The finland event and premium vehicle arc for its special vehicles shows to get any finnish vehicles you need to grind obsessedly or just buy it. And i got other things i need to spend money on than war thunder.

Before we had like events were you had to reach 5 stars. There were multiple ways to earn a star.

We had task oriented events, we had 3 vehicle events and 3 vehicle battlepass seasons, we had RB EC maps and we had 3 targets to destroy before the airfield destruction became the endgame.
Now we have endless dive to the middle, teamdeatchmatch events with one or two vehciles :(.

About that, it’s not an “event” problem.
For example… they don’t give me map bans in ground. So i’ll skip any trash map i don’t like anyway.
I’ll even J out the vehicles i want to play in order to leave the garbage they call map faster and not waste time in queues.
In general , when gameplay isn’t really fun… you don’t give 2 craps to play good. If i want to play good i can, but there are maps i’ll just J them out. It’s really depressing to play maps you’d ban in an instant , they just don’t let you ban them… So you have to protect your mood insted.
That i quoted it’s not an event issue…
It’s gameplay/maps/balancing issue…
