There is still some hope in the future. Gaijin might add India as a seperate tech tree because it will likely get them loads of Indian players… but right now subtree is the only option there is. Lets hope they atleast implement that properly.

Lim 5 was operated by Germany. If you go that way Germany also has some CL-13 which are Canadian origin, yet Canada isn’t Germany’s sub (or anyone’s sub sadly)

The hell are you talking about ? Loads of polish players dont like the idea of being in the german tech tree. And none of the mentioned countries are nearly as big as India, neither do they have a large number of military vehicles.
India got its independence 75 years ago and has nothing to do with Britain at this point, we have a lot of indegenous vehicles as well.
How does redeeming visas have any connection to war thunder or real life governance ? Mind answering that first ?
They dont, Canada has vehicles in different nations
They are not. Also Poland has been denied for Germany as a subtree.
They are also not. Czechia has been denied for Russia as a subtree. So far only Soviet vehicles have been added for them, which does not mean everything will. (see “Czech leo to USSR” thread) Maybe there are a very few for them, but that does not mean the rest should be ignored.
Just because X vehicle is in Y nation does not instantly mean Y nation will get Z nation subtree

I hope that India some day does get it’s own tree or at the bare minimum, more unique vehicles not locked to premium or events. If it stays in the UK, I would be fine with Indian vehicles regardless if it’s domestic or a eastern/western import so long as it’s not a 1 to 1 copy of another vehicle.
2 copy paste Sam’s as the only tt vehicles is very sad currently and I’m also not sure how much room is left in the tree when looking at the folder and line limits.

Indians generally hate the british a lot, so thats why so many players are mad about it.
Personally I would prefer something like this:

British only: There is enough vehicles to make their own tree without any Commonwealth support. It’s actually scary how many vehicles are missing.

Commonwealth Realm: Not just Australia, Canada, and New Zealand but the other island nations as well. While there’s 14 nations in here (15 including UK) many of them don’t even have militaries but could add some wildcard premiums for diversity.

BRICS: Like the Commonwealth Realm we’re excluding the existing trees of Russia and China. The main headliners here would be India and South Africa, then there’s other nations like Brazil/Egypt/Ethiopia/Indonesia/Iran/United Arab Emirates that can add diversity to the tree.
