14.0 uptiers make it a pain sometimes, looking forward for 14.3 br
my take is that they should make it historical, leave it at 12.7 and if it is really that OP they can still change the BR
my concern is that, as it stands currently, the Mig-29s will be completly irrelevant in simulator after the upcoming BR changes due to 12.7 and 13.0 always being in the same bracket, which makes the soviet 9.13 completly irrelevant as you can just play the mig-29g ontop of russia not having any 13.0 plane for sim
a historical Mig-29 could remedy that situation a bit by giving the 9.13 atleast a bit of a fighting chance against the likes of the F-15A or Gripen at closer ranges while completly negating its ability to contest them at longer ranges

i really wouldnt like a mig29 without the er at the same br with a flanker, not to mention the planes with 9m and 7m at the same br, thats why 12.7 is perfect for it, but with 4x+ r73 + 2x r27r/6x r37 it sounds a little bit op, thats why limiting it to 4x r73 at 12.7 would give it a breathing space, which would inturn different playstyle and experience than other planes.
I somehow do better in the su27 than the su27sm. I blame the bad r77s but alas…
Fair 12.7 is a much favorable BR… but its not even close how much better the SU27 is than mig29.
Mig29 at 12.7 with r60’s has got to.be comparativly the most underpowered jet in WT history

r60 at 12.7 sound prett useless, i dont have the mig29 yet, but seeing performance of r60m on 11.7, yeah that is pretty much dead weight

it isnt that op as it would have to close the distance first at a br where phoenixes get spamed with an rwr that just isnt that great
and we already have the r73 at a lower br on a fighter and same for the Magic 2 which are pretty compareable imo and the magic to is also seen on a 4th gen with way better flight performance than the mig-29 and paired with more CMs and a MAWs (in case of the 12.7 M2K)
currently the Mig-29 sits at a BR where it is sournded by jets that do way better than it in terms of flight performance avionics and in some cases missile kit
it is if you grind the mig-29 go for napalm it is litteraly more useful than 2 r-60s

i didnt even do it in the F-4S (my first premium)
but i deemed the napalm more useful than the r-60 at 12.7
heck i even used the su-39 as an air to air fighter instead of bombing with it

Can the MIG 29.only carry 2 x SAHR missiles IRL?
If not 4x 27ers and 2 R60s
Or 2 x 27ers 2 x 27ETs and 2 R60s.
Its pretty hard to balance with poor flight model and only 6 pylons when the awesome flanker is 0.3 higher.
I watched defn mig29 vs f16 last night and was a really fair fight… im guessing it was nerfed hard sometime after?

yes a while after they gave it the r27er (which it shouldnt have) and never giving it the r73 which they promised they would add to the mig29

R-27ER is a guaranteed kill, at least you can flare the R-73
Mig-29 has not been nerfed since its release nerfs, and its flight model is currently likely accurate.
What’s incorrect is the thrust curve from ~400kph to 650+kph. Source is Mikoyan documents.

I dunno man. The videos of the moves the mig29 can do IRL are not what we have in WT.
IMO the su27 is great. Every other ruski TT is mid or just shit
Su30 for eg… thrust vector? Where and when? Its deffinition of a brick at every speed.
