r-27 not being a bvr missile is a crazy take, it’s better than the 7f/m imo plus it has plenty of range in a straight line. Although, I can see this being partially true, as personally, the only time i use r-27rs (on the yak on the outer pylons) are 90 percent of the time sub 8 km, while er i shoot sub 20km.
boom, you loose the speed advantage.
if you climb you will have to use a lot more chaff and are far less maneuverable.
Im sorry but at a BR with so many fox-3s a BVRless plane with 15x pops of chaff shouldnt go for high altitude fighting

oh and a sacrement of speed not being everything is the MiG-29SMT
the SMT has fox-3s and is one of the fastest planes on the deck and at altitude in the 13.0-14.0 range, yet its only 13.3 due to suffering other problems (like being a brick)
speed is not anything in these BR ranges, talking with you feels like youve never played top tier before

lets not talk about smt, that thing is so bad at high speeds, i dont think there’s a plane other than the su-33 that loses more speed than it at high speeds at those battle ratings
Your whole argument is that it would be a worse Mig-29G and as such it needs to be 12.7…
Lets take your bias tinted glasses away and take a good look at the belgian F-16A vs F-15A. The F-16 is clearly inferior, by not even having radar missiles, and still sits at 13.0
And that’s for a good reason, because it would be even more unbalanced at 12.7 with IRCCM missiles, being a good platform and all.
The Mig-29A with R-73 and R-27R would be BETTER than that the Belgian F-16A and you want it at 12.7?? Delusional

low Flare count (only 30 pops in total is one of the lowest at the BR)
Pretty bad radar
(it also say horrific cockpit visibility, but that only counts for fellow sim enjoyers lol)
its only real benefit is the HMD

Speed advantage is not going into the battle, it’s escaping situations and repositioning which is not going into the battlefield.

I also haven’t brought chaff for PD BRs in over half a year.
Last time I brought chaff was on F-15E sometime around February.
I prioritize positioning and kinetic defeating at this stage cause I learn more from doing those activities than I do from using chaff.

What’s incorrect is the thrust curve from 400kph to 650+kph.
how bad that the 29 is horrifically bad acceleration due to its unrealistic static drag.

It explains why it’s 2:1 when using it in its spaded state.
It was used exclusively as a bomber until it was performance spaded and it only had access to 2x AIM-120s until it was pretty much spaded cause the modules order is cooked with that aircraft. And even when using it as a bomber I still did better than I thought.
There were 6ish crashes due to compression, and the rest were losses to dogfights because teams collapsed before my bombs were off.
Better FM than F-14, F-18 and arguably on par or better than M2k because it compresses much less and accelerates faster. It’s at least average for the BR
It’s effectively one of the best radar kits for 12.7, only surpassed by the Yak141.
F-18A at 12.3 has a better radar
F-18C early at 12.7 has a better radar
F-20 has a better radar
Swiss F-5E at 11.0 has a better radar

a player who is negative and has below 200 kills in a jet shouldnt talk about that jet like he is a know-how-know-all
the 29 is only conceptionilized for a maximum of 40 tons of drag at AOA, ingame you can experience up to 70.000kgf
also wrong, the thrust is innaccurate from 0-1000km/h
above 1200km/h its also wrong as it exceeds anything seen irl
