Please do. The tow’s and rolands are woeful

Im afraid i wont be able to report them. I can report one at the time, and with video proof showing how they behave

Let the info digging commence.

It’s not even the flight performance of ATGMs and SAMs that is wrong, it’s the tuning of the PID controller that screws them over so badly.

Same thing that makes some TVC missiles go wobbly. It’s just bad PID controller tuning.

That being said, Roland and Crotale should basically be ACLOS or SACLOS with “lead indicator” to represent how their FCS can calculate a predicted intercept point with radar/IRST (only for Crotale NG on Ito91) lock.
Stormer and ADATS should also have the lead indicator. It wouldn’t surprise me if almost all “SACLOS” SAMs had some sort of similar FCS function.

ADATS and Roland also have excessive missile smoke, those systems were relatively smoke free for SAMs.

But yeah, PID controller fixes first. Those make or break the system, without even getting into the issue of guidance assists.

Happy to report that over 170 out of 200 people that voted support this

Hoping it goes ACLOS, we already have it for TOR and Pantsir, I don’t see why it shouldn’t have it, unless devs deem it too strong for 10.0 but IR missiles already do that so.

If it becomes ACLOS only it would not even be that much of a buff because you’d lose the ability to fire without a lock

@F-16D_Barak_II what source have you used for this?

Tbh i spent some time looking around the manual just now, but i failed to find anything that would show speed.

I don’t believe this system had that feature.

By that feature do you mean leading the missile automaticly. If yes then it can do it. 2 missiles at one target.

I don’t think it’s the same thing, it’s more primitive, the system is older than the Tunguska.

ACLOS means tracking and guiding does not require human intervention. It does check that out. Many other SAM that are already in the game do, simply Gaijin does not model it.
As for OSA, it does do it. It calculates lead and sends commands to the missile.

Idk, performance probably won’t change that much. But sure add it.

Tbh, probably. The smoke trail is so huge everyone will be dodging it.

Dodging it followed by sending a missile directly at the origin of the smoke trail.

Two separate sources. When the report is accepted I’ll release them. Just need to make sure there are no classification constraints

Almost no missiles require the operator to steer it ala WT’s bad interpretation of missiles.

I think they do that for balance? You wouldn’t want a fully automatic Pantsir would you?

Yeah, since airplanes get 10+ km fire and forget munitions, the ground should have them to defend themselves too.

There is currently no balance. CAS has all the advantages

Would be a quite well deserved nerf. Requiring a radar/irst lock to fire would be nice
