I am fine with either, but the F-18C should go to 13.7 anyway.
Kinda wished they would have added F-18C as prem and F-18C MLU-1 as TT, with F/A-18C MLU-2 after it on some next update.

No. IMO The F-18C should stay at 14.0 and without HMD.
I’ve never seen Swedish players seriously struggling with both of their 4th gen additions, which led them with a very wide room to brag and whine over the rest of nations on how everyone cries.
‘suffering’ a couple of months will definitely put them in some sort of humbling stroke.
You’ll get the multirole, HMS-capable Finnish F-18 in june regardless.
This is neither confirmed or denied so its more of a guess. If your claim had merrit id agree but Smin has stated there is no timeline for the MLU 2 currently.

The same guess was made when the Su-27SM and the F-15C were the obvious platforms for the arrival of ARH missiles back in december 2023 when the Su-27 and the F-15A arrived, it’s not just a matter of Smin (or any CM) confirming them or not, it’s just a matter of natural development.
Not delivering the MLU 2 in June would be a glaring mistake.
Not entirely. Gripen C wa slated to come right after the December update but was pushed back. The MLU 2 can follow the same rule so your logic is false here. As MLU 2 will likely only arrive when 9X is here as Smin stated it needs to have substantial differences from the US C model. Having 9X follows the rule of one missile differences being enough.

Smin has been wrong time and time again, as much as he wants to clarify things, don’t take his word for granted or at face value.
He’s not a lead developer, he’s in charge of public relations.
Hes also been right again and again so we are at a stand still. Again its more likely to assume MLU 2 will be reserved for C-7 aim 120 and 9X as that is its historical loadout. Otherwise if they added the MLU next patch it would be the same BR as the current F-18C

If that is going to be the main counterargument, this whole conversation is worthless.
And even worse for the future of the F-18s, as it implicily accepts the MLU 1 will be the one coming in June, not MLU 2. You should be cheering for Smin being wronged by developers (as usual with pure futurology in this game)
As stated by Smin the next F-18 for Finland will have HMD and A2G and he stated only 1 is planned and not multiple. Which means they are skipping MLU 1 in favor of MLU 2.
That argument doesn’t really relate on how the community works in reality. Everyone points at their particular favorite strawman to complain on. And Sweden ain’t a particular exception, on wether its players pointing at everyone or viceversa.

Where does he say that it’ll be just one at all? It says a later version will come, not one only later version will come.
Sit and wait. It’ll come way sooner than later. Many nations had to wait way more for a functional HMS on a platform.

Again my main argument isnt just its not fair but skipping MLU 1 is a poor decision as it skips the first unique Finnish modified Hornet which i believe better represents the nation and the tree than a basic US export mode from the 90’s

Yet there is tons of compromises in the name of fairness in this area and some of them are even unhistorical

MLU 1 has 9X( but as loadouts are a balancing factor i suggest it be left out.) So MLU 1 would have a worse RWR since it cant detect K Band, and would have IFF as the only advantage aside from the reduced weight as the avionics for ground ordinance were removed. So it would be a good A2A only but inferior in multi role.
Again why skip the first Finnish Hornet?
